After the disappointing dross served up midweek I suspect Jackson will get a response from the squad which isn't ideal.

Notts have had plenty of time to work on things thanks to the farmers field at Valley Parade. No excuses, Maynard needs to avoid defeat for sure. The players need to step up and show character and not just flair.

Not expecting to get anything against Stockport but stranger things have happened to us this season.

This Saturday before the Wrexham game Morecambe have a protest march to highlight that the club is up for sale .This might go on the tin pot thread but I couldn't give a shit ,we have been up for sale since Sept 22 and we need to get it out there that we need new owners .Our current owner has basically over valued the the club when we're a league 1 side and is still.expecting to get an offer on a league 1 valuation ,we'll guess what that ain't going to happen ,we had a very dodgy offer from Sarbjot Jahal who could not prove to the fa where his money was coming from, but because the fa don't have a time limit on doing the checks it is apparently still on going after a year .At the end of last season every player we had were not offered a new contract so we had to start this season with no players on the books then also they were offered 1 year contracts ,upto now for next season we have 1 player on the books .I know fans go through alot supporting there teams but these last few years seem to have gone under the radar and we as a fans collective now need to start letting other fans know what we have been going through, also our owner also had Worcester warriors rugby union club that went into administration if that is any help.I dont expect much sympathy because alot of clubs have been there but im not asking for it i am just letting other fans know our situation thank you .ps if any Wrexham fans fancy joing us on Saturday you are more than welcome leaving the Eric Morecambe statue at 12pm .

No I think you'll win this one. Since Ali left we have struggled to score plus Bugiel injured himself in the warm up on Tuesday so didn't play. Doubt he'll be back for tomorrow. Kelly who we brought in from Solihull hasn't scored yet although he gets no service. Reckon you'll win 3-1. We are crap away from home as well.

We're looking more solid now and should be buoyed by a decent point away at Wimbledon in the week. Feeling relatively confident that we'll get something at Sutton. Wilson to bag against his old club perhaps?

We rarely concede only one but I live in hope. I'd just like to see us keep a clean sheet to half time just to keep us in a game right now.

You haven't had a game for about 10 day's. We've played twice in that time so you will be fresher than us therefore I expect you to win.

Because the obvious fashion and apparent rule of this forum is to downplay your own sides chances I would say you are tired but unbeaten in two and we are fresh and defeated in three.

No not really I'm just being realistic. If you look at our results since Ali left the goals have dried up. The mk game took a lot out of them and we looked tired against Grimsby on Tuesday night. We don't really look like scoring at the moment. I think the majority of our supporters realise that we aren't going to make the play offs this season. If Ali had stayed I think we could've. I would expect us to be there or thereabouts next season. This season has been a building season for us.

A win just about keeps us alive though still needing snookers. The season’s history makes it difficult to be confident about winning, but we’ve certainly got a good chance and are long overdue at home.

Yeah really. Some far more valid than others but if you've not spotted that trend then you choosing to ignore. It's weekly and very very common.

You don't like scoring and it shows since losing your star man to the Ipswich Town bench. We don't look like winning since we lost our head coach to Swansea.

Our outlooks are pretty similar and not unsurprising given these majority changes during the season. Both club's fortunes very different compared to when we met in that entertaining 4-2 game when both sides looked like scoring and playoffs looked likely.

I agree with this post. I will.be really surprised if we don't lose tomorrow. Missing Bugiel.is.final nail in coffin..

Trip to Gillingham, some unspecified injury doubts, get the impression from the pre-match that Adkins may put out a similar line up to that at Swindon and in all probability get a similar outcome. Yet arguably the following games home to table-topping Mansfield and away at Wrecsam look more testing. Probable home win.

Just because you're pessimistic doesn't mean you're wrong. You were all calling us runaway champions, I've been saying that top three at the end of February would be a huge achievement... it's a big responsibility, being right all the time

When you are a top club, top 3 all season long and are OTT pessimistic predicting draws and defeats far too regularly then you are regularly wrong. The match results and table tells you that.

You (Stockport) aren't alone. It's obviously what fans on this forum do. I blame being shite for all those preceding years :bg: . Hope for the best, expect the worse.

I wonder if there'll be some kind of reaction from the Accrington players today after the Whatssacking of their managers.

Hopefully the curse of manager of the month occurred on tuesday as mansfield embark on a run of 3 tough, tough games at home to swindon before away trips to tranmere and bradford.

Need a reaction after tuesday, we’d still be top tonight regardless but it’s about keeping clear of 4th, especially with Mk and crewe having winnable games.

Think if we can win this we’ll be on our way, but given previous seasons there’s going to be some shredded nerves about.

Home to Swindon and away to Tranmere really aren't tough fixtures for you lot. Someone has put 50p in Bradford of late admittedly but Mansfield are still a much better side. Anything less than 6 points and it'll have been a poor little run.

Newport's odds of 6/1 (or even 13/2 with one bookie) are interesting. Don't get me wrong, I'd expect Stockport at home to win, but 3 wins in the last 6 against Walsall, Gillingham and Harrogate, all of whom would appear to be among the better sides, does stand out. definitely has the potential to surprise.

Although I'm concerned we're drawing our way to relegation at the moment, I would happily take a seventh draw from nine this afternoon. We really would then need to follow that up with a home win on Tuesday night mind you.
