See X is full of Walsall fans trying to create “beef” with Crewe now. Makes a change from trying to force a rivalry with us for a few days I guess!

I think that will be the case. We're imperious at home. We will lose a home game eventually but I can't see it happening against Grimsby
I know you don't always buy into silly banter and one-upmanship, Meadow...but the rules are the rules and this needs to be highlighted unfortunately. Apologies.

Walsall have been a bit like that in the past. I guess they're a bit like us in that they don't have any proper rivals so they tried to invent one with Crewe in the 90s.

I mean there's been plenty of Vale fans who come onto Walsall posts trying to stir shit too. Don't act like it's one way way. It's football, everyone's gonna do it.

Fair play to Gillingham. Was a game that probably should have been a 0-0 but they took their chance when presented. Nothing more to be read into it really. Did largely what we’ve been doing in previous away games just on the wrong end of 1-0 this time.

Only the second home win of the season but hard fought and well earned. Fleetwood had a very good first half, dominating mid field and a nailed on penalty saw them take a deserved lead
We all knew Bradford had to improve in the second half and while they had plenty of possession, failed to capitalise on their dominance
Great away support for the Bantams with all fans respectfully honouring a minutes silence ahead of tomorrow's Remembrance Sunday

As soon as she said that I knew we were in trouble. I'm still mot sure how we lost. I'm not saying we deserved to win but we shouldn't have lost.

Well miracles do happen.

Great day, just nice to experience a win, and so late on made it all the more enjoyable. Great atmosphere on the away terrace.

Awful game of football though. But it’s a plus to grind out a win, it’s what you need to do when you’re the worst team in the football league. Small step in the right direction. if we can do the same at Bromley next week then great. But we’ve never backed up a win with another win in about 2 years.

My first Carlisle league game I can get to for a long time, think Bradford away a couple of years ago was last one, maybe I can bring them much needed luck.

We should worry now though as Ryan Giggs is taking command

Can you go to Bromley next week?

5 in a row allez allez and all that jazz.

We got lucky in the first half with that foul on Wright which was never a foul. Wimbledon should have been ahead then.

Thought we were the better side in the first half though and just about deservedly led but could also have easily been 1-0 down due to the aforementioned officiating blunder.

Wimbledon fairly direct and Bugiel who I was expecting to be a right handful was crumpled up into a little ball by Harvey Rodgers and put in his back pocket. Rodgers has come in for a lot of flack, some of it fair and some of it not, during his Town career so far but today he was excellent. When he's good, he is very good. Matty Stevens, we know is an excellent L2 player too, kept very quiet. We defended well again on the road, Khouri, McEachran and the full backs all chipping in alongside the full backs. It's just utterly bizarre that we can't do this at home.

The only negative for me today was JDS. He can pick a pass and he had a semi-self-crafted chance towards the end that he put over but he just doesn't seem to be able to get to grips with the physical nature of the division. Definitely not calling his signing a failed experiment but I don't really like him starting in a three up top with Barrington as it's just so lightweight.

What an utterly obscene cross from Green for the goal. Was funny standing at the back of the Town fans today and watching everyone in the minutes once the goal celebrations has died down turning to the people next to the them doing the same right handed motion to describe an outside of the football being played.

Good day out, third visit to the new Plough Lane and nice to see us finally score there. Ridiculous that nobody has STILL not taught them how to pre-pour half time beers when they've got 1000+ away fans though.

Also finally, was Luker even on the bench today? I didn't see him warm up once, unless he has had a haircut or something?

Good point, still don’t know what to make of us. Brilliant for half an hour then stopped completely and clinging on for periods in the second half. Probably a fair result overall.

I’ve either forgotten what a good team looks like because of our time in the NL when the points total for promotion was so much higher, or we’ll fall off the pace soon. No idea which it is.

Our goal was absolutely brilliant tbf. One of the team passing moves of the season.

I wasn't there today but I'm hearing rumours of goal of the season contender finished off by our Gambian Prince.

Looking forward to seeing the great team goal after tonight's fun and frolics.

You can definitely feel aggrieved about the foul on Wright in our goal in the first half. It wasn't a foul. So I'll definitely give you that as you had the ball in the back of the net. Beyond that though, I think Wright made a couple of good stops but I don't think you carved out anything I'd describe as a really big chance. Lots of huffing and puffing. A draw was probably a fair result for me. When the ref inexplicably added three extra minutes onto the 90+3 and you had a corner at the death I really thought it might have been a point a piece too.

It was 6 mins from the 90th, unless you mean you don't know where he got 6 from?

That's the one thing with these away games, despite coming under lots of pressure from each of the teams and having one goal leads, I don't think any of the sides have actually created anything clear cut to score despite dominating possession for so long.

Curtis proper chopped down but wasn't going anywhere so sort of get why it wasn't a pen. But if it's given no complaints from Gillingham I doubt. Did seem like a push in the back before their goal but the way he went flying did seem like he was tryna buy it.

Anyway, totally one dimensional performance. It's okay to go long when your CF is noticeably taller than the opps back line but no. Gillingham were just letting us give Debrah the ball, that tells you what you need to know.

The lads need to sort their stud choices out as well, slipping over the shop.

It was six.minutes added. We could have played all day and not scored. Yours was a perfect away performance and we were wasteful with the ball. You were solid at the back but if I'm totally honest I thought you were average at best but we had an off day.
Maybe because you made us look average but who knows. I'd like to think we will finish above you . However football is a funny game.

oh I agree we are average, but we seem to be great at defending leads, but when behind we just concede for fun. I don't think you will find many Grimsby fans who won't be shocked if we finish close to the top 7 nevermind in them.

Yeah, it was a brilliant goal. The highlights won’t do it justice though and will just show the cross I imagine, but it all came from some fantastic one-touch passing to create space down the other side and then a switch of play by Palmer. Great stuff.

There can’t be a more limp dick attack in football than ours.

Not so sure about that.

Third league game in succession we've drawn 1-1 after conceding in injury time.

Must have been a discrepancy between the board and PA announcement and the screen then. The screen to our left definitely said +3.

First 20 mins of the second half I thought there is no way we can withstand this onslaught to see this out, but your play became impatient, less probing for overloads out wide, where we have a massive weakness at home, and more route one. We saw it out pretty comfortably with a modicum of shithousery in the end. If we still had Crocombe in goal you would have witnessed a different level of that.

Not good enough. Midtable finish with Alexander in charge.
Think we will finish in POs. GA is experienced enough to know he has to start with his strongest 11 in their correct positions which I am sure he will do in the 2nd half of the season. Once Oliver went off and Bobby played his correct position, it was one way traffic. Unfortunately, our final ball was too often amiss and our shooting boots weren't on. Bobby(only 5'6") was head and shoulders above anyone else on the field and Fleetwood will not get away with anything like that again this season. The one worry I have is that Oliver has something on GA.

Great result Mariners. Pleased for you. Elsewhere; Stanley for the POs?

Another ‘good point’ but also another poorly managed game against a good side, getting very boring now.

Unless Crowley is injured, not bringing him on for Brown or Austin there is unfathomably weird
We should have put some subs on but Tsaroulla was absolutely knackered on 70 and Gordon was having a moderate game so they'd have been the ones I'd take off. Surely Crowley and Martin could manage 15 minutes. Very strange bit of management by Maynard.

Yeah the first 20-30 mins was the best of the season, topped off by a stunner of a goal.

Our bench was a shitshow so i can kind of understand not bringing anyone on, but why he’s not getting Crowley on there only Maynard knows.

Walsall fans weird as fuck. Are they expecting Crewe to take the lead and then play at 100mph?

Have some perspective, and show some respect to your fellow League 2 teams.

Also the guy that brought noncing into it. Disgraceful and should be banned.

Do these people have any thoughts to Crewe fans that have experienced sexual abuse?

No, they don't give a fuck. It's all a points scoring thing.
