Just got in from what was a regulation 2-0 win against a decent Aldershot side. We even managed to miss a penalty. I think that's the first time that Rendell has failed to score against us. He was a pale imitation of his previous Woking/Cambridge self. Despite our small squad and multiple injuries I was pleased with how easy that was. We're going to go into the New Year in the top half of the table. I'd have taken that at the start of the season.
Another peach of a sub by the Cowleys. Marriott on and scoring in a minute.
The penalty was shown at HT and apparently even Tranmere's end didn't think it was one.
I've sat through 10 years of us being utterly shite to average and the first season in that time that we're any good, I miss the Oldham, FGR and Tranmere games.
Think Rovers deserved something from that game. It was very end to end second half and perhaps MM should have tightened up instead of going for the win.
Imps the first NL side to do the double over us. Think this game an indication of how tight the fight for top place will be.
We were bloody awful but somehow rescued a point. Same old story. Players filling in for injured ones aren't as good and therefore we're suffering. Solihull must be kicking themselves.
9-6 aggregate score against Solihull this season. With that in mind no chance of play offs. All I hear from our fans is injuries this injuries that but we should still be beating teams like Solihull who deserved to win. Twice in a week outplayed at home against part time teams.
The team look disinterested at home and it has coincided with the takeover fallout when the manager was promised all sorts. No coincidence and I think Still is now going through the motions.
Them solar panels not working at Forest Green with all this fog.
