Another must win game, we need to take the momentum from Saturday into this. Worried we will fuck it up though.

Huge game and a win could seal our survival. Battered MK without creating many clear chances so if we can take that performance into this then we might get something. With PNE up next it's a must not lose game really.

Another solid performance and a 1-1 draw I reckon.

Before the MK match on Saturday, I would of put this down as a nailed on home win.

After the performance on Saturday though, play anything like that and I think we will win this one. Just need take a few chances.

Only the 2nd match I can't be arsed to go to this season. A win should more or less secure league 1 football next season. To do this we actually need to start having decent attempts at goal, something we seem to have forgot how to do.

Duffy with what I think is his first Vale goal, sounds like we've done well first half. Massive 45 minutes or so now.

3 points here and a Peterborough equaliser should seal survival.

Well done Vale.

Unbelievable.

This and the Rochdale last minute winner have relegated us. We won't win against Preston and then we are right in the shit if results go against us. For fucks sake.

Fuck off Page you negative prick.

I've stayed fairly quiet this year (apart from the odd wind up about our play off chances) but I do think we will go down.

Preston playing for promotion in front of 2500+ of their own fans, Yeovil have nothing to play for so will no doubt start getting results as they have done tonight. We never get results against Fleetwood.

It's going to be tight, two 95th minute goals in two away games has cost us so if we go down we've only ourselves to blame.

1 win in TEN games.

Page has got to go in the summer along with Grew, Glover and half of the squad.

Come on, your last two fixtures are about as easy as any team still in the relegation mix could wish for, let alone one that at worst only has an outside chance now.

Especially Fleetwood at home who are hardly going to motivated to get a win when they have nothing to play for - even two draws could be enough.

We need a good clear out certainly. On the field we are heading back to the pre Adams era and how Glover wormed his way back in is anyone's guess.

Our run in hasn't been that hard yet we've won none of the last 8!

Two absolutely awful sides. We were embarrassing but created some good chances which we wasted. Delighted with a point all things considering.

There were loads of stoppages in extra time hence the +5, one of Vales players was down injured and referee caught Vale out on timewasting.

It's play until the whistle regardless of how much time was added and then played.

We have an easier run in with teams who will be on holiday no doubt but that means fuck all when you're as shit as we are at the moment.,

One point further away from the Bottom 4 is how I see it. If we can stay up this season, I consider that a success.

We really should have won this match by what I saw of the chances on the highlights.

First half was Vales & 2nd half was Scunnys, we sat back in the 2nd half and Page takes off Marshall who was causing no end of problems, then takes to time wasting that ended up costing us in the end.

We created some glorious opportunities but we were absolutely dreadful, big improvements needed for Saturday.

You had 4 shots on target and poor ones at that, same goes for us. More of the shots were at cars in the parking lot:ohy:. Wooten and Hakeeb Adelakun came on and did well.

Could be a valuable point in the end, looking at their winner what a horror goal to concede late on! Free header no one near him that late on is criminal! Sounds like we didn't help ourselves losing our temper after an incident when the Scunny player showed a lack of sportsmanship ignoring the referees drop ball instruction rather than get on with it.

Campion isn't match fit to play two in quick succession and Willo cant hit a barn door at the moment, could do with the Pontiff being fit and well really but sadly since his knock against Scunny six months ago he's just not right after that three month lay off. Hopefully Byron Moore can be back for the last two games and we can have a decent set of attacking options going forward but after his two super cameos including Saturday why isn't Coulibaly getting a go! He's looked the real deal but Page hasn't given him a go at all!

That wasn't a drop ball mate, we had the ball and were on the attack under the referee stopped the game as a Vale player was down. The ref dropped the ball at Bishops feet and said play on, which we did.

Seems a different view of it from our end that he was instructed to knock the ball back to the keeper, our lads backed off so he had a run at them... Wasn't there so can't comment but a thread on OVF about it.

Why would we kick the ball back to your keeper when we had the ball and were forced to stop? Plus, why wouldn't the referee say anything? Nothing even came of it either as he literally played a pass straight to one of your players.

It was the stuff off target that we should have done much better with. Madden somehow lifted the ball over the bar from 3 yards out and Bishop headed over from close in, when he should have scored. The two lads you quote above are 18-year old and have played together for the youth side. They are aware of each other's positioning. Any other pairing would likely not have scored.
