    Champions

Most Important Player:
It'll be Rhead if he continues last seasons form into this season. It'll be important that he can get hold of the ball and bring the likes of Hawkridge, Muldoon, Margetts, Arnold (it seems) etc into the game and he's out only physical front man. Aside from him, probably Woodyard. He looks like he'll offer a bit of everything, bar goals.

One to Watch this season:
Taylor Miles. I think he'll get more game time this season under the Cowleys. Possibly Jonny Margetts as well. He's threatened to be a good goal scorer for 2 or 3 years now but it hasn't quite happened over a season.

Best Player:

I don't really look at our squad and think we've got 'x' who's massively better than anyone else to be honest. I think we've generally got a squad of decent players, though.

If I was pushed to name one, I'd say Rhead. But again, that's based on last season when he got 23 goals and double figures in assists despite playing with a tear in his groin from about February onwards.

Worst Player:
Probably Lee Beevers now. He was adequate last season playing LB despite being a RB, but this pre-season he's looked horrendous even taking into account he's not playing in his favoured position. His versatility across the defence has probably saved him from being transfer listed.

Game looking forward to most:
Whichever one secures our top half finish .

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Any decent CB with a bit of pace.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Probably NFU. A bit like Accrington in that it's so bad, it's actually good.

End of Season Prediction:
Slow start, pretty consistent after January but miss out on PO's.

Surprise package:
Yeah, I once ordered a t-shirt and got sent a pair of jeans.

Champions:
Should be FGR. No-one's really sticking out for me at the minute.

Tranmere, in theory, should be challenging but I just can't bring myself to accept Brabin could do it. I suppose if there's a change there earlier enough it might happen.

Worst Player:
None, they're all top players and top lads

Game looking forward to most:
Boreham Wood

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Keiran Murtagh has always looked quality against us.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
As always Aggborough for obvious reasons. Oh wait, FFS. Has to be Braintree then.

End of Season Prediction:
Champions, obviously.

Surprise package:
Guiseley

Champions:
If Tranmere sack Brabin early doors then us by a small margin, if they don't us by a massive margin. We've got the squad, the manager and the UNSTOPPABLE MOMENTUM.

Would have been a coin toss between Jordan White or John Rooney, but seeing as White is out for at least 2 months.. Rooney.

One to Watch this season:
We have a few who could be very exciting to watch. Tyler Harvey and Curtis Tilt are the obvious choices, but we've also got a very tricky, speedy winger in Callum Powell who could be an asset to us.

Best Player:

Paul Rutherford. Proper winger and never stops running.

Worst Player:
I don't think we really have one, I probably would have said that this time last year though. Bakare would be most people's pick, but I saw signs vs Telford why he's been signed. It's probably a bit harsh but Rob Evans is nowhere near the first team for me at the moment, so I'd have to say him.

Game looking forward to most:
First game of the season v Dover.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Luke Guttridge. Might be a bit old and past it now though. I want him from his Luton days.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Always liked Lincoln's stadium.

End of Season Prediction:
Play-offs.

Surprise package:
I don't know.. York? Finish higher than most are expecting. All you need is a hard working team with a goalscorer(s) and a pretty solid defence, you don't need a really great manager, look at Mansfield a few seasons ago and Grimsby last season.

Champions:
Tranmere.

There's always a cup game.

God I hope so. Otherwise might come along to cheer you on v Gloucester or something.

Yeah, I once ordered a t-shirt and got sent a pair of jeans.

You know very well that isn't the correct answer.

Alright let's give this a crack.

Team Name:

Maidstone United

Most Important Player:
I'd go with Joe Healy, when he plays well, the team plays well. I'm glad it looks like he'll be returning, there was some doubt whether he would with the increased travel associated with promotion.

One to Watch this season:
Hoping this will be Dumebi Dumaka. When we signed him last season there were league clubs interested, but he didn't really impress too much (outside of the obvious 121st minute equaliser in the playoff final). Maybe a full pre-season with us will help him out.

Best Player:

Probably Lee Worgan, our goalkeeper. Last year's player of the year and a pretty good penalty saver.

Worst Player:
We let go most of these, though we still have (a transfer listed) Callum Davies.

Game looking forward to most:
First game of the season against York, the games against Dover and Bromley, and pretty much all the away games to places we've never been before.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
I don't really know many! So I'll stick with what I know and go with Nicky Bailey from Sutton, guy can run the show at this level.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
None stand out, just anywhere I've not been.

End of Season Prediction:
16th-20th.

Surprise package:
Again only based on what I know, but Sutton. I wouldn't be surprised to see them do what Dover/Braintree did last season.

Champions:
Tranmere.

With Dean and Nottingham gone and Streete injured, it would have to be Liam Daly or our defence will be a complete shambles.

One to Watch this season:
Darryl Knights

Best Player:

Theo Streete

Worst Player:
I think Ryan Beswick will struggle.

Game looking forward to most:
Barrow away.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Kristian Dennis

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Prenton Park

End of Season Prediction:
Relegation.

Surprise package:
Maidstone

Game looking forward to most:

Tranmere away - easy 3 points (again) and Cook and McNulty won't be match fit - yet....

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

Andy Cook - obvious reasons

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:

Wembley

End of Season Prediction:

Play off's and 5th round of FA Cup

Steve McNulty. Defensive organiser, onfield leader. Must be played alongside Ihiekwe or someone with similar pace though
One to Watch this season:
Adam Mekki. If Brabin ever gave youngsters a fair crack of the whip, I'd add Evan Gumbs
Best Player:
Connor Jennings? Norwood's inability to play with a strike partner and poor conversion rate count against him, though good for this level.
Worst Player:
None stand out as being that bad.
Game Looking forward to Most:
I like the trips to York and Southport
One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Toss up between Wrexham's Newton and Braintree's Akinola. Newton would be an improvement on Ridehalgh at left-back, Akinola the best opposing player from last season.
Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Any new grounds that I can get to
End of Season Prediction:
Play-off failure
Surprise package:
Gateshead

Dagenham and Redbridge

Will love to find out. Peniket's been very good pre-season and could finally start scoring in the league again. Macdonald has torn it up on the right-wing and put left-winger Kosylo in the shade. Our CM Hibbs is 20, works his arse off with a smile, and has a long-range shot on him, while we tend to look our best with adopted captain Liam King running the midfield show with him. Then Moyo and Roberts are two of our best players, both competing for RB position. Anyone's guess who will emerge our player of the season.

One to Watch this season:
Same answer as above really. Macdonald and Hibbs for the yoof. Peniket and Roberts for really coming good. Then a few U19s have landed senior contracts and could emerge at any point.

Best Player:

Similar as above really, getting hard to tell. But amongst the established talent who really shouldn't be playing at Conference North together, are Roberts, Drench and Burrow.

Worst Player:
What a strong question for a side who are about to prepare for a very different league to the 15/16 Conference! They've come together well, morale seems decent, and hopefully as fans we'll be patient and realistic as the season unfolds.

Game looking forward to most:

FCUM away. New, interesting ground against rivals for all the wrong reasons, a day out with one of the finest men I've known, and a feta/veg pie at the tea hut.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

Whoever Flyde's best player is. Even if it's a stockpile signing, they sound like the team to beat which is a really depressing thought.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Broadhurst Park, Edgeley Park, Victory Park and York Street before it goes.

End of Season Prediction:
We'll be so good that a 0th place will have to be created just for us which rewards us with All the League Titles and an indefinite bye into the Champions League final for every season ever.

Surprise package:
At least half the league are touted to be in the chasing pack. Broccoli Town might have a chance of joining them.

Champions:
*ahem*

Most Important Player:
It's difficult to say right now but I think Kane Richards has a big role to play this season. He's shown flashes of ability since joining from Ilkeston a few years ago but was never really given an opportunity under Burr, who tended to stick him on as a late sub each now and then on the wing. He looked transformed through the middle in the last few games last season and has been scoring in the last few weeks. McCarthy has shown faith in him to lead the line following Hannah's departure.

One to Watch this season:
Teenage full back Matty Waters scored 20 or so goals from that position for our youth team last season and is expected to break in to the first team in the coming months. Only slight in stature and likely to end up in midfield as time goes on, he's looked impressive in pre season so far. Also to mention Sam Hughes who made the jump up from the youth setup last season, I'm expecting him to become a more permanent fixture in our midfield, big and strong nineteen year old who can also handily cover in a few positions.

Best Player:
Hard to say, we have a lot of young players with potential. We look more of an all round team than ever this year.

Worst Player:
For me it's Johnny Hunt, who just doesn't offer much at all. It might be slightly harsh to cast him as the worst as if anything he's just Mr Average, but he's frustrating as a result of that. The majority vote from our fans would probably be Jordan Chapell, who promises plenty but delivers very little.

Game looking forward to most:
The Wrexham games are annoying these days due to the bubble, so Tranmere is more of one to look forward to. Away from the local ones and it would be York.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Elliott Frear always does well against us.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Bootham Crescent or whatever it goes by these days. Never been as we've tended to avoid York a fair bit of late for one reason or another.

End of Season Prediction:
Somewhere between 12th and 15th. I don't feel we're in trouble, reckon we have a more solid side and manager this year.

Surprise package:
Boreham Wood have recruited well so should do better and have a suspicion that Sutton will adapt well.

Champions:
Probably Forest Green. It's a sad state of affairs when a Chester fan would prefer Tranmere to be promoted though. But in my eyes Forest Green are an example of everything that's wrong with football these days.

Team name: York City. Most important player: Lanre Oyebanjo.if stays fit best full back in this by a mile and probably division 2 as well ,2 years ago won all end of season awards and was part of division 2 play off team that went 10 weeks virtually not letting a goal in. One to watch this season: Scott Fenwick, always played well for Hartlepool against us and liked the look of him in pre season, hopefully a 20 goal striker. WORST SIGNING: Richard Brodie,in pre season to big & slow, needs to work on fitness, been a York fan had to say about him hopefully can come good. GAME LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST: Borehamwood, annual trip to London that everyone does once a season. ONE PLAYER FROM ANOTHER CLUB: 4 seasons out of league can not answer that. STADIUM MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO VISITING: North Ferriby,Boxing day. END OF SEASON PREDICTIONS: Top 5,not convinced about McNamara but like look of squad and don't think Sir Alex would of kept last season squad up. SURPRISE PACKAGE: Gateshead, descent manager and signed good players. CHAMPIONS: Tranmere Rovers, don't care long as it's not FGR,to much like Fleetwood for my liking

For me it's going to be Jordan Williams this season, kid can turn a game on his own, 100% will be playing at a higher level at some point.

One to Watch this season:
Jordan Williams for the above reason, we have signed class players throughout the whole squad arguably bar the sub keeper, really excited to see more of Ross Hannah

Best Player:
Jordan Williams

Worst Player:
The only bad one left, Dave Mellor

Got a feeling it will turn out to be either Liam Bellamy or Jake Gallagher, both make our midfield tick. Though another contender will be Scott Rendell who looks to be getting sharper with every game.

One to Watch this season:
Hard to tell this early, but I am going to say Iffy Allen. Got a trick or five, will always take a man on and will win us loads of free kicks as he will get the shit kicked out of him as he does like to take the piss.

Best Player:

For me, during preseason it has been Matt McClure. Never stops running, gets in great positions and has superb delivery. Really surprised he dropped to this level to be honest, but said, like a few others, he wants to play for Waddock.

Worst Player:
Not got one. Yet.

Game looking forward to most:
Barrow. First game of a new season, hope, optimism and all that old bollocks. And it gets the longest mission out the way early.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Danny Whittaker. I know he's a million years old, but he's always been outstanding against us for whoever he's played for.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
As usual, Macclesfield. Love going there.

End of Season Prediction:
Waddock has said he is aiming for the playoffs, so that will do for me.

Surprise package:
Us.

Champions:
Agree with Luke above, if Tranmere ditch Brabin early, then they are in with a massive shout. If not them, then it should be FGR.

Doesn't he annoy you? He seems to get close to 5 red cards a season. He was the same at Welling. Like a Jay Harris kind of player, can be really important, but can more often that not cost the team.

Most Important Player:

One to Watch this season:
Rory Watson - Goalkeeper on loan from Hull. Going to have a lot to do this year.

Best Player:
Curtis Bateson

Worst Player:
Darryn Stamp maybe?

Game Looking forward to Most:
Guiseley Away - Near to me and not been there since it was done up

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Dont really know, wouldnt mind the spine of the team coming back from Halifax (+ Palmer from Guiseley).

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Bootham (kitkat?) Crescent

End of Season Prediction:
Relegated, 3 scenarios which all end in relegation.
1. Capitulate early on and end up with fewer/similar points tally to Hyde in 2013/14
2. Put up a brave fight but ultimately end up short and finish 21-23rd Players do themselves proud.
3. Somehow finish above the relegation zone, doesnt mater, relegated anyway as the ground is nowhere near conf prem standard. Owners not going to upgrade it like Guiesley did (surrounded by a park, private allotments, train tracks and a pitch/farm land).

Champions:
Wrexham? Its about time they went up.

Not really, he got three before Xmas last year, all from the same ref incidently, but then calmed down and became pivotal for us. The one player last year we could rely on to give 100% whatever. Still likes to get stuck in, he will always tread a fine line, but the fact he was one of only two contenders for player of the year last season tells it's own story.

He really does sound like Jay Harris, can time a challenge superbly sometimes, but then he just crosses the line and dives in two footed, he also likes to kick people off the ball too.. lovely guy though.

Most Important Player:

Elton Ngtalala - I think he is the best player we have had at the club by a country mile and will play a huge part in where we end up.

One to Watch this season:

Dan Sweeney - For a young lad out the academy he looks as if he has something about him. Will be interesting to see how he adapts to the North.

Best Player:

Elton by a distance. Followed by Lowe and Gnouhua.

Worst Player:

Tyrone Williams, not seen anything since he has been here to say he is going to get better either. His positional sense is awful and he will get found out.

Game looking forward to most:

It will be interesting to see Darlington without being surrounded by 25,000 empty seats.

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

I think at the moment our squad is crying out for an experienced goalscorer so Jason Walker.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:

AFC Fyldes new ground perhaps or FCUM.

End of Season Prediction:

4th

Surprise package:

Nuneaton.

Champions:

Harrogate.

Tranmere as I missed it last time, plus it could be a big game

One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:

Stephenson at Tranmere maybe, we were in for him.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Prenton Park

End of Season Prediction:
Play-offs or just missing out

Surprise package:
Lincoln expected to do well but won't.

Champions:
Gateshead
