I’m sorry but 19k to 12k would be a disaster. 7k lost ST holders over the course of 12 months?!

Indeed.

We were never really going to replicate the number of sales from this season (19,300), but I think most expected us to sell around 15,000 - and I still think we will, tbh. We’ll have smashed the 10k figure by close of business today. Sadly, 18,000+ average attendance won’t be seen at VP again, unless the feel-good factor returns, or we find ourselves in the Championship.

There are membership initiatives this year, so the cost of tickets are higher, anyway. We don’t just have flat rate ST prices, like those of previous years - so financially, should be reach circa 15k sales, we’ll be better of financially IMO.

Sold just over 8000 so far. Cheapest adult ticket £350. Not renewed mine yet but plenty of time before the season starts.

The last time we were updated on any kind of figure was around 6 weeks ago, and we’d surpassed the 14k figure. I haven’t paid much attention to any noises coming out of the club, but I seem to recall the early-bird was extended further - but I could be wrong.

EDIT - prices frozen at £199 until the 1st July. They were expected to increase to £299 last month.

On a side note, Sunderland had sold in excess of 16,000 ST last week, and they also had extended their early-bird, in hope to see the numbers swell to 20k. I’ve no idea how much they are, but I’m presuming they’re £400+.

Even if their average ST sold price is circa £300, at 20K sold, reaps them £6m in revenue. The amount of money they’ll have at their disposal next season for a club at this level is crazy.

We’ve sold 5,500 so far this summer, which is probably close to a modern club record. £365 for adults in the early bird, I think around ~£400 up to today in the “primetime” which then increases further during the “anytime” period.

Looking at the recent article on our website, we may be capping STs. I suppose you can’t sell your whole stadium to ST holders because your revenue per fan decreases.
