Season tickets 19/20

They have, are season ticket prices and match day prices have been announced tonight.
For those who didn’t renew early ( I did ) it will be £379.
For away fans match day prices will be £24 for category b and £26 for category a.

A higher than normal match day increase, but needs must when demand outstrips supply.

Saying that, for those non-STH's who have the My Imps Membership it will drop it down to £22 and £24.

£349 (early renewals like I did), £379 (renewals) and £419 (new) are about where I thought they'd be and I can't complain at £15/game for me.

That's outrageous (although fantastic value for money for ST holders)

Not sure why he’s said that to be honest, lower tier areas are £23 and upper £27 (barring a couple of half way line blocks and ‘premium seats’. Although the away section is upper tier, so would fall under £27. We did do an offer to other clubs that if they charge no more than £25 to us, we would reciprocate. So there is a chance they do it again and you only pay £25.

The £257 is after all the discounts if we hit 14,000. Those are currently priced at £333, which is still decent value imo.

Just hope we hit 14,000 as that’d be nice amount of my season ticket and also in theory a better atmosphere compared to empty seats!

It's a smart deal. I wish Rovers would be at least a little bit innovative with our STs.

Our most expensive is £440. It's quite sad clever really that we have a non-league ground with only really 1 stunning view. So you can charge extra for that view as there are probably 500-1000 seats there.

However £320 to stand on the side of the pitch is a joke

ST ordered for the decent terrace. £32 a month for 11 months. I could be slightly out of pocket as I can't do weeknights but I'm guaranteed a space for sold out matches.

Still £312 early bird for the Cowshed and Corners. There’s also, a Club Gold that starts £804! Directors Balcony Seats, another private bar, cup of tea, teamsheets, but doesn’t include a lunch or anything! Club Platinum is available if you really want the full works.

Apparently we give tickets away though...

* includes an extra £1 a month towards the Academy. There’s a monthly draw in which the winner get the price of their S/T back. It’s raised about £30K for the Academy this last season.

Posh have re introduced the 10 game season ticket ( was a 12 ) last season.

To stand on terrace £180 any other seated £210 , you just book online when or which of the games you wish to attend & if you are seated obviously choose your seat.

Will get a standing terrace ticket , I wouldn't want to watch 23 games , nor do I have the time so this is a great option & saves me a few quid.

I'm convinced our ST sales suffer because there is never going to be a problem getting a seat on the day. I haven't bought an ST since we last got promoted from div 2 when Paul Ince was here. I can't make it to every match so it suits me to buy per game. It's probably no more expensive either. There must be a lot of our fans who feel the same.

They've done cheap season tickets for years, at least 10.
Good idea as they fill up a massive ground, some of us don't have the luxury.

They were initially cut when we were last relegated to league 2 to £199, however when we came back up and on the back of just missing out on the playoffs and getting to the FA Cup quarter final they were further reduced to £149. It wasn't a case of just hoping for the best though, it was done with a clever marketing strategy at the right time and numbers were always likely to soar. The season after we sold something like 15,000 football shirts as well, and obviously other merchandise and stuff also increased. But no in the mid 2000's and before they were similar to everybody elses £300+ we just decided to make the most of the big stadium and potential given a big local population.

Football is overpriced at every level. I have never lived near enough to Oxford to get a season ticket, believe the cheapest ST has been reduced to £300 in the East Stand (Behind Goal). If I did live close enough to buy a ST I would probably go in the North Stand just so I wasn't always staring directly at that bloody fence.

You have my respect for regularly travelling to that soulless bowl. Why you built a ground so beyond your needs is beyond me. A ground like Shewsbury's would have done you fine.

Because it wasn't built for us. Oh they say it was but it was built for the World cup we didn't get. It was built as a show piece for Milton Keynes to attract internationals of all type of sport. It was built for concerts and festivals and anything else that has large crowds. It was built to take over from the Bowl (which will probably end up with houses on it) It was used for the Rugby world cup and we have Take That, Rod Stewart and the Jehovah's Witnesses annual convention coming here. .

MK Dons are a side show in the money making antics of Stadium MK.

Oh and to add we were in a perfectly adequately sized stadium, the National Hockey stadium which could have been redeveloped but no, delusions of grandeur or some form of coercement and we moved to Stad MK which left the National Hockey Stadium abandoned. However Network Rail wanted the land for it's headquarters so a perfectly good 15 year old stadium was demolished. I wonder if it was all entwined

It's £156 for mine (U25 prices) and I don't think it matters how many games we miss because of the white elephant that is stadium:mk. When I was at university I kept my season ticket as it was cheap and is in a popular area and I only went to games during holidays with no repercussions.

This. The 3MC would have never granted permission if we’d walked in and said “we’re going to build one of those identikit 10,000 capacity four stand grounds in the middle of nowhere and nothing on site to financially support the whole enterprise”. Yes, I’m talking to you, Shrewsbury, Colchester & Chesterfield.

Really. I dont think its excessive. 300 quid. Is 13 if you go to every game. How much is a pint. A packet of cigs. The Cinema. An average meal. 9 quid an hour doesnt sound redic to me. Whats min wage. Clearly im out of touch 20 yrs out of UK but just throwing this out there
