Already missed one set of fixtures but still a bit frantic when we come back in a couple of weeks.

Sheff Utd (H) - Good side with a good style and good manager, should've had 6 points last season against us but we shithoused 3 at theirs. Do well to get anything from this. 0-2.

West Brom (A) - Jury's still out on Darren Moore but they've a class side on paper, again would do well to get anything. 2-1.

Wigan (A) - Think Wigan will survive comfortably this year, 17 in 24 clean sheets for them at home so I fancy some fabulous Friday night viewing. 0-0.

Villa (H) - Bit of a reunion this given they've basically got a squad full of our ex players. Another Friday game under the lights, fancy us to do them. Late winner. 2-1.

4/12 from a very tough month, needed that win yesterday.

Bristol city A. Will be two teams going for the win who both play some decent stuff, I expect a similar scoring match to the last game last season. 1-3 Away win.

Birmingham city H. No doubt they will come for a boring draw and I think they will get it. D 1-1

Preston H. Fancy a pretty comfortable win with a late consolation for pne. W 2-1.

Millwall A. As we will be pretty much top of the league at this point I expect to be brought back down to earth. 2-0 wall.

Rotherham (A) - Have to be looking to win this, if we are serious about working towards implosion number 364. 2-0 win.

Blackburn (H) - Will be a close game, but I fancy us to win. 2-1 win.

Brentford (H) - I want to say we’ll win here too, but this would be far too many wins in a row and this is far too positive. Brentford 2-1.

Man Utd (A) - Let’s get Mourinho sacked! 1-0 Derby :animatedf:

Bolton (A) - Decent start by them, although they may have plummeted by now. 1-1 draw.

Millwall (A)
Where it all started to unravel last year. Big test for Bielsa, style may have to go out of the window as a dogged Millwall team will be up for bringing us down a peg or two. They'd love to be our first defeat.
1-1

Preston (H)
Easily beat us in the cup. Hopefully it's a different story in the league.
2-1

Birmingham (H)

I'm sure Garry Monk will get a fabulous reception. Hard to call.
1-1

Wednesday (A)
I've seen us lose lots more times than watch us win at Hillsborough and Wednesday are a much better side than their accounts and the doom and gloom the fans have projected at the start of the season.
3-1

Forest (H) - Finished 2-1 WIN
Wigan (H) -
We've got a pretty decent record against Wigan, and I just think we'll have too much for them, even though they've had a good start. Having Maupay back will be a big plus. WIN
Ipswich (A) -
So very glad Mick's not in charge any more, we always seemed to do poorly against his sides. Now pretty confident of getting a result here. DRAW
Derby (A) -
We've had bad luck in the past at pride park, and we can struggle in the fixtures before cup games, Derby are on good form, so I'll go for a loss here. LOSE
Arsenal (A) -
Wonder if we'll give it a go, or save our squad for the promotion hunt and put out the reserves. My guess would be the latter, and so an easy win for the gooners. LOSE
Reading (H) -
Reading have been poor this season, and the end of last season, we've had a good record against them for a little while, so I'll back us for a win here. WIN

10 points / 15 is a good month for us - not good enough to push a Top 2 challenge yet, but keeps us in the Top 6 and in contention. Hopefully a fun day out at the Emirates, a stadium I haven't been to before.

Rotherham H - Won 1-0. Wasn’t pretty but got the job done against a team that came for a 0-0.

Brentford A - Lose 3-2. Should be goals in this, two very attacking teams. Think we’ll come up short though, they’re a good side.

Hull H - Win 2-0. We normally bounce back well after a defeat and Hull like Rotherham is the sort of team we need to beat at home.

Bristol City H - Draw 1-1. To be honest this could go either way, no result would be a surprise.

Norwich A - Win 1-3. Fancy us here. Norwich don’t seem a happy ship and will have to go all out in front of their own fans. I can see a repeat of Stoke where we pick them off if we score first.

Sheff Utd: Draw, two similar teams full of doom and gloom only 2 or 3 weeks ago but have won 7 in a row between them to get in the play offs.

West Brom: Lose, we'll be a due a Nil pointer, not that I think they are anything special.

Wigan: Draw, slightly better team than the one that got relegated.

Villa: Draw although I suppose it depends on which Villa turn up.

3 draws and a defeat doesn't look great but aligned with 3 wins in a row shows us for the upper midtable team we probably are.

Sheff Utd (H) Could go either way this one. Two sides on good form that in my opinion are pretty evenly matched. I'll go for the draw. 1-1

West Brom (A) The Baggies have been a bit hit and miss this season, and with our decent away record so far, I don't think a draw is out of the question. 2-2.

Wigan (A) A night match up north. Just the sort of game we usually lose. 1-2

Aston Villa (H) We owe these one after last time. A big crowd under the floodlights will spur us on, but they are strong so I think it will be probably honours even again. 0-0.

Three points from twelve. (Edited due to shit maths) Not great but It's a tough month and there are more winnable games in October.

Bolton (A) - Loss. We have done well for the last two games but I cannot see us getting anything.
Millwall (H) Win. Especially if we lose to Bolton I would want us to go for it against Millwall. Our defence is slow but the smaller pitch at LR should help us.
Norwich (H) Win. We beat them 4-1 last time out and they seem to be a bit hit and miss so hoping to get another win here.
Swansea (A) Defeat. No one can beat these giants.
