Very tough to call - both teams need a response from their last game. Wednesday are a brilliant side on paper but are low on confidence, Leeds have started well but appear to be vulnerable away from home when teams don't allow them to have possession & pressurise them.

Couldn't call it. Toss a coin.

Honestly can't call it either, watched Leeds at Cardiff and thought the game mainly hinged on the mistake for the first and the sending off, fine margins.
Funny thing about Leeds/Wednesday games is, you can trot down there expecting to lose 4-0 and win 5-0..and vice versa .
I'll tell you something though....I'm sick to death of not having a game at 3 o clock on a bloody saturday

This is a totally confusing and weird fixture for us Blades

Picking which one of them you want to win is a bit like choosing your favourite paedophile.

Must win match for both teams, so I prefer a draw
But if I was forced to predict, i’d say Wednesday are well overdue a win
Will Wednesday bounce back? Will they ever bounce again?

You're missing the point here, Wednesday could do us a favour against one of our promotion rivals . :bg:

Well its a bit naive to think Wednesday fans will never bounce again, We might have to work our way up to it by "Swayin'" for a bit lol ..., but if the Steel City Derby was that debillitating, I think you lads would still be suffering from '93, but you aren't..Its all relative mate.

Nothing confusing and weird about it at all for me . I want Leeds to win 5-0 simple as that.

Fair enough, maybe it’s an age thing then.

I remember Revies Leeds in the 70’s, they were really good and no one liked them.
You used to get the odd born and bred Sheffield kid at school, support Leeds instead of SU/ SW.
Also remember when one of our best ever players Tony Currie was sold to them in 76.
Then another hero Alex Sabella was sold in 80
Then another hero Keith Edwards sold to Leeds
Then another hero Brian Deane sold to Leeds
Also remember the hooligan run ins during the 80’s, both United and Leeds had bad reputations.
So for me personally and I would imagine other Blades old enough to remember the 70’s have bad feeling towards Leeds, not as bad as towards SW tho obviously.

Yes I know a lot of older blades/Wednesday fans really dislike Leeds, I personally couldn't give a flying fuck about them tbh. I dislike Nottingham forest most after Wednesday and I'm not really sure why.

I cringe when our fans go on about hating Leeds, I couldn't care less about them there about as much a rivalry as Huddersfield or Hull is to me. Leeds don't give a shit about us so we need to gi or singing about them.

Don't really like this type of game. Yorkshire derby, off the back of a bad defeat and an international break following it...

Ahh get a result please.

Massive game for us, win and it will kickstart our season, lose and the next 2 weeks are going to be unbearable. We haven't lost 3 in a row ever under Carlos that I can recall, we do usually get a reaction and I hope it's tomorrow.

God knows what team we'll put out but I expect a few changes.

Wiedwald

Ayling Pennington Jansson Berardi

O'Kane Phillips

Alioski Saiz Dallas

Lasogga

Subs: Lonergan, Shaughnessy, Anita, Klich, Hernandez, Roofe, Grot

For me I think.

slightly nervous, both clubs need to bounce back, would take a draw all day long

going to my first game of 4 this season at home to Reading in 2 weeks can't wait
