I don't usually buy replica shirts these days tbh, if I'm buying any club merch I go for casual wear, still overpriced but not as big a rip off. Got a dagger tee from our 1889 x Anyforty range for £25 which I can actually wear out rather then just at football.

The other benefit about casual wear is it doesn't look out of date after a year.

Is that because you don’t have the fan base to offer affordable football? Thought so.

It’s certainly been sustainable for us since it’s launch in 2007, as we’ve made a profit 9 seasons out of the last 10.

I sense you don’t know what you’re talking about?
Well yes, that's exactly it. As is the case for most clubs in the division.

I never said outrightly that it definitely won't be sustainable, just that I thought that it probably won't be. Are Bradford a plc? I guess we'll find out at a later date if they are. Look at your signings though, your wage budget is obviously massive for this level and if you don't think so you're absolutely deluded. Also worth bearing in mind that you'll be getting less TV money and you're not gonna be having as many big away followings visitng the Utilita Energy Stadium.

Just a couple of points for you.

Our playing budget is circa £2.7m - certainly not massive, but larger than most.

TV money is distributed by the season, as opposed to individual games. We didn’t feature on TV last season from memory, and our budget last season was £1.4m higher that this year.

Nice plug, there. Do you work for Utilita Energy?

I guess it's all relative but to most £2.7m is massive. Notts County were around £3M last season I think by comparison and they're well in the shit now on what were decent gates last season. What are you expecting to average next season? About 13,000?

Don't fully get your point regarding TV money. L1 clubs get more per season than L2 clubs, might not be a massive amount, but it all adds up. Your budget is £1.4M lower than last season? Where are you getting these figures from, because looking at your ins and outs I'd be astounded if that's the case?

I don't work for Utilita no, that's just what your stadium is called.

There’s circa 14k ST’s sold, so if we’re challenging for promotion, 16,000+ is realistic.

Re: playing budgets, it’s public knowledge. Refer to minutes on our supporters board website if you’re really that interested - I suspect you are.

Sales of our new home shirt are currently precisely zero because it hasn't been released yet.

I believe that there was supposed to be the official team photo last Thursday which would have been its first outing. However, the supplier was only due to deliver them that day and it was decided it was too risky so the event was postponed.

Our new away kit was released on Saturday. No idea of sales although there were quite a few being worn around the ground on the day. Given the colour scheme, it's pretty easy to spot. At night. With your eyes closed.

Same here, still don't own a Rovers shirt...despite having followed the team for around fifteen years. I have a few England shirts, but they aren't that recent and one is a retro shirt from the 50's or 60's...the only other shirts I have are retro-Botafogo and Kaiser Chiefs, that I picked up on my travels. I have had a few others but generally wore them so much that they just fell apart and ended up being binned.

Vale's prices seem a bit cheaper than most on here £39.99 for adults £29.99 for kids.

True quote Firthy but it won't stop some folk making fun of affordable prices. Gary Bowyer has said that all of this season's signings are within budget and there is still a bit to play with so on that basis, unlike last year, the signings do look sustainable especially as the man now running the club would not let it go into debt during the last 10 years of his tenure.

Always been that price for us, any higher is a rip off but fans will pay it.

Cheers for all the replies, but it would seem no club advertises it's shirt sales, as most posts have been about Massive Bratford and little also ran's that don't count shirt sales either!
