Comrade Lineker's Revolutionary Junta
RAF air strikes in Iraq have resulted in no civilian casualties so far....

I know that's the official MoD figures, but that's a laughable claim.

The MoD don't actually have a mechanism or process for properly assessing civilian victims of airstrikes. Zero reported casualties is easy if you don't report casualties. Since August, the US-led coalition has killed approximately 500 civilians in Iraq (i.e. three and a half Paris attacks). Some of those will have been killed by UK bombs.

The USA have a way around the idea of civilians being victims of bombing by classing *anyone* killed by a bomb who is of "military age" as a militant. That means their signature strikes (where drones attack groups of people deemed to have the heat signature of terrorists).

I'm going to take MOD stats over what is essentially your opinion. Most of the sortees do not even drop a single bomb and in reality we've dropped very very few. The Americans have a different view on doing things to us.

And I could quite easily see you as a moron with a conspiracy. The problem is, the brainwashed morons have opinions based on the facts provided (not a shred of evidence to suggest otherwise). I've seen the jets leave with missiles with my own eyes, I've seen them return more often than not with the same missiles, with my own eyes. I guess that was all a huge government trick of the mind...

Syria has been getting bombarded already by other nations. I haven't seen any major progress from these actions.
this one is also good

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
So in a year they've advanced about 35 miles?

So in a year they've secured almost the entirety of the border, against a foe who managed to blitz the Iraqi army?

that's all they largely can do, it'd gets a bit dodgy when kurds take back ostensibly non-kurdish areas, so the u.s. has only been bombing in support of rojava territory so the YPJ can avoid any ethnic cleansing labels

which is partly why in the second map the kurds are striped green (opposition colour). the SDF (syrian democratic forces) include a lot of the (arab) moderate opposition, so when they do move on raqqah they can occupy raqqah and really win back some arab land and minds without it being dodgy

I was actually going to try and find the picture of Melchett looking over the map with Darling, but got sidetracked and forgot.

Don't much like the trolly tone of this post, but actually very much agree with the sentiment. Really disappointing that the LGBT and Feminist societies opted to back the ISOC rather than the ASH and the speaker. A spectacularly wrongheaded response to a fairly unedifying incident.

I'm guessing the radical feminists have calculated that intellectuals and free-thinkers pose a greater threat to their ideology than Islamists do. They're probably correct for the time being.
