Love that all time table. We are the kings of this tinpot league. Looks like it'll be a while before anyone catches us even if we do drop out of the division for a few years!Biggest for me is Bristol Rovers. Closley followed by Luton/Grimsby.
While of course we are small I think we are outside the bottom 10 smallest clubs for me
I would say Histon, Leigh RMI and Lewes are all good shouts
Here is the all time table.

What about Redbridge Forest?
Oi We won the watney cup in 1972 fyi MASSIVELewes are a bigger club now in the Isthmian than Fisher have ever been.
Bristol Rovers have done nothing of note to justify a claim of being the biggest.
Do I spy some bait here?Farsely Celtic, Droylesden, Kingstonian and Fisher Athletic have to be up there as the smallest clubs ever to grace the conference
For those saying it is out of Luton/Oxford, surely Bristol Rovers fall into the same catergory?
Tbf theyve both won the league cup. It's not the be all and end all but it's quite a significant achievementFor those saying it is out of Luton/Oxford, surely Bristol Rovers fall into the same catergory?

Yeah i suppose. I was just basing it on size etc.Oxford and Luton have won a major trophy and played top flight football in my lifetime. Bristol Rovers have done neither, ever.
As I said at the beginning of the thread, it all depends on how you define a "big" club. It's all so subjective and means fuck all at the end of the day. I'm proud of my clubs history but I'm more concerned about where we're going than where we've been.Yeah i suppose. I was just basing it on size etc.

Aylesbury certainly haven't been one of the smallest clubs to play at this level. They've been in bad shape for some years but prior to that were a pretty big non-league club.
There really is no contest for Histon as smallest I'm afraid. A village of 4000 inhabitants having a football club at step 5 in the pyramid, sadly only there because of the bankrolling. Didn't they also take zero away fans to games, I'm surprised they are still getting 200 turn up currently.

Well the Ks are a long long way from being one of the smallest clubs ever to play in the Conference, either on their history or on their crowds. Sutton Utd are hardly any bigger than them!Nope, no bait. Honest opinion......
Based on recent league placing then surely Tranmere have had the most time in the Championship + therefore are the largest club ? I would think on the same basis, then Luton are next. Of all the other contenders, Oxford, Bristol R, Carlisle, even Grimsby [who had a lot of time in old Div. 2] then on the same basis haven't spent as much time at that level ?
