Huddersfield were absolutely atrocious but a proper away performance there from us, kept it tight and took our opportunities when they came. Super finish from Lee for the second to really put the game away and actually had a chance for one more with Collins missing a good chance.

But shocked how bad Huddersfield, the sub they brought on Bacuna looked like he hadnt played football before.

I knew we would do this, keep stringing us along until with the hopes pinned on the most outside of outside chances right to the end. Its the Luton way. Still think we are down already but good to see some fight at the least.

You seem to be better away from home.

3 strong results on the road but 2 poor ones at home.

Its bizarre to think in a season where we had a run of 12 away defeats on the spin, but we look better set up to win away games than home games right now. Look so much better trying to keep things tight and dull with a view to nicking things on the counter in the second half in that "classic away performance stlye". If only Graeme Jones hadnt been so bloody naive for 90% of the season we might not be in this mess.

At home we are missing the crowds massively I think but its probably helping us away.

We're 2 points behind. We're no where near down yet. Have a little faith.

I've just realised - that was our first and only "double" of the season.

You’ve been to Stamford bridge and the Etihad, Liverpool away, Now you’ve LOST to Luton Town, Home and Away!!! Home and Awayyyyyy!!!

Some interesting games tomorrow that hopefully go our way. Then I might start to believe.

Boro - Bristol City will be interesting, with them having got rid of Johnson and being a bit of a streaky side in general. Could do with Reading smashing a few past Charlton like they did with us and hopefully Millwall turn up against Hull unlike in the week against Boro. Think our fellow strugglers will fancy themselves in those games.

Barnsley Wigan is a massive one depending on points deductions

And we're now on 10th July, and still nothing on Sheffield Wednesday.

I heard earlier that they are looking at going into administration too if anyone knows any more on that rumour.

Still think Stoke will go down. They can’t defend as their centre backs aren’t goof enough, apart from Shawcross.

Luton looked good today. Hoping they stay up and Stoke go down just so Agent Jones (as he is affectionately known as by our fans) has one over on them.

Big game for us today.

Then at West Ham.

Last 2 games are Man City / Arsenal!

:conf::animatedf::ffs:

So basically if we aren't at least 3 points ahead of the bottom 3 before those games we will be stuffed .

Charlton lose to Reading 1-0. They are suddenly under pressure to be back in the mire. A week ago I thought they were fine.

For the first time in a long time, it is back in Luton's hands for safety.

QPR’s last 6 games...1x win. 5x losses
This must be a good time to make amends for the result at their gaff..

Well results just went about perfect for us today and looking at the run ins we really do have it in our own hands which is just about all you can ask for given we looked well up against it at one point. Dont think id swap our fixtures for anyone elses either looking at them.

Have to say no matter what happens Im really proud of what we have done this season, you can criticise our quality and probably a few other things this season but the players have put in everything into this.

Massive game on Tuesday - Wigan vs Hull.

A Wigan win would see that 12 point gap they need appear and a far better GD as well.

Another problem has potentially been averted down the line - Wigan are due to play Charlton too. That will have so many ramifications both ways. If Charlton were safer, it may have been more beneficial for them to lose that game!

Wouldnt say so, like at all actually?

Still think it’s a tall ask to pull 2 wins out at least from these next 3, perhaps even need 3, given who we are this season and where we have been, but we have given it a good go. I’ve never questioned the attitude of the players either, just there quality at this level.

My view of things is a little bit more nuanced than “we are going to stay up” or “oh no we’re so shit we are going down” and always has been.

You mean you read some shit on social media, who would put us in admin, our only serious creditor is our owner who would lose out by doing so.

Birmingham City - can’t buy a point let alone a win right now. They seem to be playing against all of our rivals at the moment and not turning up time after time.

Is there a Wigan-style bet going on there too?

They do seem in total disarray right now with no manager as well.

Think they have turned up for this little mini season thinking they were nice and safe but the form of us and the other bottom sides has really pulled them back into it. Difficult to shift that flip flops and on the beach mindset once it has set in.

Huge game on Wednesday night against Charlton, if they dont win that they could be right in the shit with everyone else.
