Decent enough strike, you'd expect the keeper to save it though.

Did not want that half to end there. Liverpool playing some lovely stuff; not looking good for your 4 - 2 So'ton eh Toddles? ;)

No surprise. Yet again zero pressure from us.

We replaced Schneiderlin with Jordy Clasie. A massive laugh out loud at us.

This could end up 5.

Clasie and Romeu. Romeu who isn't good enough to start, replacing our best player from last season.
It was a shocking summer for us as whole though. Martina, Caulker, Juanmi etc.

Barca MkII tonight, some clinical finishing from the lads here, great stuff! Good to see Origi finish in style as well, he could be one of those that just needed a goal to get his career there launched. More of this on Sunday please Liverpool :D

The most embarrassing thing for Southampton is that Divock 'Leadfoot' Origi has struck twice against them.

A bit like how Spurs felt when Flamini swatted them aside with 2 rippers.

Not watching but is this a case of Liverpool playing extremely well or Southampton having a pisser?
We got these on Saturday

Liverpool have been excellent to be fair to them. Southampton obviously haven't been at their best either.

No doubt they'll piss all over us this weekend , another nail in the coffin

Haven't been this ashamed of a Southampton performance since we lost at Fratton Park in 05.

Fair play Liverpool, exploited every single weakness we had today. Scary to think what they'd have done to us if they had Firmino, Countinho and Benteke playing.

What's you prediction for Saturday fella?
Can't see anything but a Southampton win. We are rock bottom, and I'll guess your lads will be pissed at tonight's result looking to make amends

No idea, you'll come for a point no doubt. Longer it stays 0-0 the more likely it'll be that you will leave with all 3 as we will inevitably shoot ourselves in the foot as some point.

Beating you won't make amends for this though. Like I said earlier in the thread, this was our biggest game of the season.

wow what a performance! Sturridge really knows how to come back from an injury. Hopefully he does not get injured now like last time. Fantastic goals by Ibe and Origi too.

Now we got Stoke City in the semifinal, one team is already in the final. Its gonna be Manchester City vs Liverpool/Stoke.

Sturridge was gritting his teeth a bit when he came off, hopefully it was just through fatigue and rustiness rather than another injury.
