How is that funny when 500+ Tranmere fans have already forked our for tickets and travel?
I have to laugh at our situation to stop it getting me down. It’s not funny at all that you guys forked out money. It’s even more not funny low paid staff, stewards etc are not paid at all and have mortgages to pay etc etc it’s a truly awful situation but I try to lighten it up somehow

Rumours are now players are considering strike this weekend. There was a meeting with Sol after training today they’re not happy with the way he supported them if at all. Dark, dark times. It’s not even like we have asset stripping owner just a skint one who is owed millions by the club. Don’t know how this sorts itself out unless one of Ron’s other companies start turning a profit to fund the club

I have full sympathy for the situation which is not the doings of the fans , stewards and the many staff behind the scenes who keep the club ticking over. Do you think there will be any sort of comment from the club before Saturday?

Imagine there will be news coming out at some point tomorrow. I’ll keep posted on here

Reliably informed he has a relegation release clause.
Didn't know that, next time I see him, I'll ask him. If he does then I really do expect to see him sold in January.

Does seem weird, that. Doesn't add up does it?
Nothing adds up about our current situation.

Around 2 months ago £10M+ was wiped off the debt. We now have no bank loans outstanding, we no longer owe Sainsbury's around £4M - all paid off. Ron's claim is that he 'moved money around.'
But if he's got £10M+ to 'move around' why hasn't he moved it to pay HMRC on time each month, why hasn't he paid our youth team staff, some of the office people at Roots Hall, the stewards and some of the players.
Why is it only partial wages, some people who work at Roots Hall have been paid, majority of the playing and coaching staff have been paid. Ron, or whoever handles payments have been literally picking and choosing who to pay and who not to pay this month.

Whatever is happening, it's a mess. I kinda hope the stewards do strike on Saturday to highlight the latest mess Ron has got us in. His madness in 2010 was woefully under reported and condemned by the majority of our support.
I then hope that the Tranmere fans who have spent money on travel and accommodation bill Southend United for the inconvenience that will be caused to them.

I've said before that this season would have been more fun had we just gone bust and started again, maybe it was a prophecy.

What is it with Sol Campbell and the clubs he manages? They all end up with winding up petitions, unpaid wages and staff strikes. It’s as if he is the grim reaper of lower league clubs!

I’ve forked out £105.00 on train tickets to get to Root Hall on Saturday ffs!

To be fair you can’t blame Sol for this, it’s been a disaster waiting to happen for a while.

About time. Did Macc get the points deduction for not paying or for having to postpone games?
Either way if we get a points deduction they'll be an immediate appeal due to the Bolton scenario.

This season it obviously makes little to no sense to actually dock points. What's the cut off for it being applied next season?

Think they've appealed their points deductions and got charged yesterday for failure to play the Plymouth game.

Can't see us being docked points. We still play our matches and this the only occurrence this season so far..

I thought 3 of Macc's points deduction were for failure to pay their players so if the case and the same is applied you would get 3 points deducted.

Different people in charge, hopefully that means the EFL will look after its clubs now.

This really grinds my gears. We don't have a pot to piss in and w're having to fund raise for our new ground. We have no money to build a squad but we're just about holding our heads above water. In the meantime, Southend seem to see HMRC as an alternative source of income. No offence Southend, but buck your ideas up.
