Word on the street is that he's going to manage France after the World Cup. Can't see what else he'll do tbh.
Would mean that Deschamps will finally go back to club management which is good.

This is going to look very silly if Spain crash out in the group stages without a win.

Well Madrid will be delighted Ronaldo and Spain are out .

Means a lot of their players will get an early rest.

Lots of patter about Juventus offering £88m for Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid 'considering it' - fully expect Ronaldo to sign a new deal in the next few weeks then

Yeah Juve would be a strange move for him imo. Maybe PSG if Neymar were to leave, but can't see an Italian move being on for him.

There are now images of Juve shirts with Ronaldo 7 on the back being circulated... although anyone could get a name printed on the back of a shirt tbf...

I've read that on Sunday it will be the first El Clasico without both, Ronaldo and Messi, since December 23rd 2007! 3962 Days. Strange!

Got the boot just now. Santiago Solari the temp manager. A profile very close to Zidane's: a RM man with zero experience. Wait and see.

Real losing 3-0 at Eibar today. Can’t see Solari lasting long either....

For all Real Madrid's diabolical decisions, I don't think they've ever sacked 2 managers in one season. Solari is an inside job which they expected to go as successfully as ZIdane (which, CL wins aside, was not that successful). How naive of them. Just like Bayern, they haven't updated their squad in ages and the best one left the sinking ship before it was too late. Also, who do they hire if Solari is to be booted out?

Watched most of the first half of Atletico/Barca last night and it was shit. Barca with very little idea, Atletico being their usual selves waiting for an opportunity on the counter. It ended 1-1 with the first goal scored in the 77th minute. Just like in the game at Rayo Vallecano, Barca were saved from a humbling defeat by Ousmane Dembélé.

Worst part of it is, Real are only 5 points behind Barca despite being in crisis. Just shows you how poor both sides have become and how no other side is ready to benefit from that situation (Atletico, Valencia, Seville the main candidates). At least Bayern are miles behind Dortmund in Germany so their crisis is obvious for all to see.

Barcelona foot ball club is the most challenging team to play with because of Messi but as this season has been so different that most team dont find them as a challenging team again
