Happy with how our squad is looking, though we are still a bit weak in certain areas. Think we have enough there to see us top half comfortably and maybe even challenge for a top 6 spot.

Etheridge
Peltier Morrison Bamba Bennett
Gunnarsson Ralls
Damour
NML Zohore Hoilett
Is probably our strongest side and the team we have used where we looked at our best. Still have a few players to come back from injury who would challenge for places like Camp, Paterson and Harris.

GK: Camp, Murphy

DEF: Paterson, Manga, Connolly, Richards, Coxe

MID: K Harris, M Harris, Tomlin, Halford, Bryson, Feeney, Pilkington

FWD: Bogle, Ward, Healey, Gounongbe(M.I.A)

By the looks of this thread we're going to have about 13 teams in the top 6. Says it all about the Championship in fairness.

With your squad and the start of the season you've had I'd be disappointed with anything less than top 6. It's early days but you are setting the pace for us all.

A couple of injuries and we're fucked pure and simple. We lose the likes of Zohore/Gunnarrsson/Morrison for any length of time and there is no one that could step up to fill the void. Zohore especially, if he doesn't play we don't play it's that simple. We may be setting the pace but it's a long slog and there's no way we can keep it up when you look at the depth of some of the other sides in this division. Next 2 months are going to be ridiculous for us with the sides we have to play.

I think we lack creativity, which will no doubt be our downfall this season, and I imagine 4-2-3-1 will be our commonly used formation going forward.

It looks like a strong squad on paper, plenty of options in each position and the ability to change it up whenever needed. However, I don't think disjointed performances will ever be too far around the corner. I'm still convinced we will finish somewhere between 8th-14th.

Was just looking at this thread and had a similar thought, a lot of confident supporters.

Still too early to predict anything, last season you had the likes of Barnsley, Bristol City and QPR in the top 6 after five games so its clearly no indication of what's going to happen. We had 3pts at this stage last season.

Bolton look poor but still can't rule out a recovery and them finishing in a comfortable position.

Looking at those two squads I would be backing Millwall and Bolton to go down heavily unless they can make some good signings. I don't think Millwall will score all that much (I really don't think Morrison and Gregory will cut it in this league) and their defense won't be good enough either. Bolton seem pretty shit all over the field to be honest.
Sorry, Josh this is very unfair, but I couldn’t resist.

That defence is now the third best in the league.

Just had a re-read of this thread. I had already forgot Harry Redknapp was Birmingham manager at the start!

Cardiff looking strong at the moment.

I wouldn't mind us trying to sign Noone or Pilkington if Neil fancies another winger/ attacking midfielder in the squad.

There were some absolutely appalling calls in the predictions thread. Getting a pre-season prediction wildly wrong is par for the course, but some of the sheer ignorance in there really shines through, especially about the newly-promoted sides.

Agree, I was wrong about most of the promoted teams, Sheffield United and yourselves have had fantastic seasons, whilst Bolton are still a decent bet to stay up. I expected Sheffield Wednesday to be right up there, but injuries and poor recruitment seems to have cost them dearly.
