Another team being Bogle-d. He won't be there in February, I tell you!

Good to see Hurst still knows how to grind out the 1-0 away wins against the non league sides.

Seriously though how bad must Mansfield be to not score past us, at home as well?

Oh look, Murray lost ANOTHER game without scoring a goal.

4 home games in a row. Beginning to get to the stage of where Murray needs to change his philosophy or he needs to go.

Sounds like Grimsby did exactly what Barnet did - sat back and chilled, realise we'd not know what to do or attack and got the goal.

Murray and his tactics are very transparent and easy to get round.

Murray is wank. Mansfield are wank. Bogle is class.

That sums up today's game for me.

Both teams were clueless going forward, especially second half. If not for the dodgy pen had 0-0 written all over it.

Conference standard football, in fact worse, at least with a few fatties on the pitch there is bit more time on the ball...

Liked Collins and Comley, Tuton did well when he came on, Vose gave us someone comfortable on the ball, what the feck was Chambers doing when he got clean through..., still not sure about Summerfield, broke their play up well but we need more control in midfield and he doesn't give that - his first touch is poor.

Be interesting what PH does with selection for Tuesday with everyone fit...

There was nothing 'dodgy' about that penalty. It was nailed on from my view in the QLE, Shearer was so slow off his line.

The game may have been shit but as awaydays go that was fucking awesome, atmosphere 2nd half from feeding off the 30 or so Mansfield chavs trying to give it back has to be up there as one of my best ever awaydays.
One of us 7 who went is a Gillingham fan from work who's been asking to go with us to an away for ages so we took him and the Mansfield chavs were pointing to him calling him a fat c*** so he lifted his top up to em and showed em.
(I might add that the guy is around 25 stone so not a pretty sight)!

I also had a clear view and it didn't look 'nailed on' to me. The ref either had to give a pen or a booking for simulation and happened to choose the former. He seemed to delay and have a think about it as well. Haven't seen the vid yet though.

According to the commentary it was the linesman who gave it.

Anyhow heres the replay, deffo pen for me, Bogle got the ball before the keeper and the linesman did give it.

That's penalty all day long.

A side that can't score with a shit goalkeeper and a manger that doesn't know how to attack, that hasn't scored in 4 homes games or motivate his players or win home games.

Yay

To be fair though for the first 15 minutes you were all over us and it just seemed a matter of time before you would score. Then after we got the goal against the run of play i can't remember one time where i was worried as you never looked like scoring after that.
Even so though at the end when you were pumping balls into our box i was half expecting one to fall nicely for you to equalise as normally whenever we take a big following we end up fucking it up so still a relief when the whistle went.

I went in to half time thinking 'these are fucking shite, we will score at some point' completely embarrassed we didn't manage to score to be honest.

Second half and Grimsby were content to sit back and hoof it forward, which I have no problem with considering they went away with all the points, let's face it although we was the better team in the first half and the goal was against the run of play (100% Penalty) second half was evenly matched and it came across like the team mentally bottled it.

Grimsby very shaky at the back though, can see why you concede a lot. Evidently you could also see why we never fucking score!!

Murray is under pressure now, this is a squad capable of a play-off finish and he's running out of time to sort the home form out.

The problem being is that Grimsby knew they could do that. Losing at home in successive home games to Barnet and Grimsby is seriously not acceptable.

I've no qualms with either side doing what they did and whether they did or didn't deserve the win they both got the 3 points. I'm hardly saying we're world beaters and should just expect to beat these 2 sides, but a little application, a little adventure, a little creativity wouldn't go amiss.

Every Mansfield fan would have known yesterday as soon as Grimsby scored the game was up. Scouts will have told the manager to sit back and chill - which is exactly what they did - as Murray as no idea on how to attack or be positive.

Bogle is an absolute beast, some Championship team is going to take a punt on him soon.

Is Murra really under pressure? Appreciate that the home form has been wank, but seriously, he's done a decent job, and let's face it he's no Paul Cox...

Basically Mansfield are Matt Green FC. If he doesn't score Mansfield don't win games.

Top scorer is Mitch Rose I think.

I think Murray is under pressure yeah, he's not close to getting the sack or anything but all it takes is the home form to carry on for the next few games and it's clear we ain't going to be pushing for a play-off position and something might have to be done.

Bogle didn't stand out for me yesterday, took the goal well like.

Two Wingers were the best players for Grimsby IMO.

If Murray played Danny Rose alongside Green, instead of in Midfield, then he might have a chance at scoring as well.

Grimsby were crap and we should of been 3-1 up at HT.... Not worried because were creating enough chances, but not scoring id be worried if we weren't even making chances. We need one to fly in off someones face or something and get some confidence and really kill a team off at home. Won 3 Drawn 3 lost 3 has been our form on average throughout our existence. Highest finish recently was W 15 D 15 L16.... I don't think were in trouble were just an average mid table side, if we finish again like that then murray isn't the man to make us progress.

Couple things worry me though and that is playing a defender in midfield just infront of the back four.... Its just 5 at the back and a man light in midfield meaning were "hard to beat" but the defence is constantly under threat and we make silly mistakes at some point every game. Also Danny rose is a very good striker but him and green arent an actual two up top pairing, its like rose is being told to drop back and play as an attacking midfielder or out wide at times. Its just a mess... we don't have a footballing identity or plan to win games, players don't seem to know their jobs and its really like watching England under woy at the world cup.

What makes you say you 'should've been' 3-1 at HT? A couple of shots off target and several easy saves don't equal goalscoring chances.

Both teams were awful yesterday and the difference was Bogle once again. We sat back from 60 minutes and Mansfield were doomed to a draw when they brought Hoban on. Only threat was through balls to Green in the first half.

We were wank again. Murray hiding behind the stats. When Grimsby went 1 up we never looked like scoring, again. Where was Danny Rose meant to be playing?

Bored of his tactics. It's clear he's hit a brick wall and he's been Sussed out
