He's a busted flush. Took Chester down, then mid-table, now on the verge of relegation again.

Yet we were all told that he was the Best Manager In The League after a few good months at Kidderminster.

Surprising, as it’s likely to cost us a bit of money. 4 wins in 24 games just isn’t good enough though.

He did a good job last season and finishing in a relegation place the year before wasn’t really his doing either, he turned us in to a better side that year, just wasn’t enough in the end. Last year was a respectable effort after preparing for Conference North to begin with.

He’s looked desperate recently though chopping and changing every week and changing the formation two or three times a game.

McCarthy and Ian Sharps in charge for now. Past the next few games, not sure, fans want either Ronnie Moore or Shaun Reid it seems.

We've had 5 wins in 18 months. 4 wins in 24 games is a mouth-watering prospect. Burr in.

Ronnie moore will be a great shout, if he could turn that awful hartlepool team round last year and keep us in l1 with no money he will work wonders with the seals

He seems to be the most popular choice among the fans a the moment, do you think he would take a job at this level?

Seems a few things saying Burr could be off to Lincoln.

I'm not sure where that one has suddenly appeared from.

My guess is it's just speculation, Moyses saying he's stepping down then Burr leaves. Probably not much to it really.

Overrated and seems like a bit of a tosser. Glad he snubbed is when we went after him, although I wanted him at the time. Maybe because I hadn't seen him interviewed many times before that.

He's a very decent bloke, bit egotistical but he had a really good relationship with the supporters until this season and did his bit on the community side of things. Until things went pear shaped and he started going on about the budget every week he really bought in to the what the club is, real shame it never worked out.

Always blamed the budget.

I now feel confident that we'll get the 3 or 4 points we need to stay up.

Get Ronnie in for the last four games then bring someone else in ready for next season. One of the best at quickly turning round teams low on motivation and team spirit but he seems to get complacent after that.

Burrs number two Jon Mcarthy and Ian Sharps are taking over till the end of the season.

Looking forward to driving over to Lincoln tomorrow. Wasn't going to bother after Torquay on Tuesday. Ffs we made Torquay look like Brazil. The crunch will come tomorrow when the team is named. If Calamity Jon and Tractor Tom are selected then nothing will have changed.

BREAKING | #Blues appoint @jonmacca70 as new First Team Manager on one-year deal. #COYB

So Jon McCarthy has got it, pleased with this as we looked a completely different side under his leadership in the last few games. He's already said Ian Sharps will be his number two.

Time to tie down a few players now.
