We all have then unfortunately, you see the daft criticism that nolans had since you've started choking of late. for him to be crititsed for having a "limited" squad of players in and around the top 3 comparison to their rivals is daft.

Happy with that, if true. Though I naturally would have preferred if he had stayed to least to the end of the season, at least from a continuity point of view.

Flitcroft doesn't instill me with any confidence whatever. He's 3 games in and I'm sure (err) we'll improve under him.

My big problem was always what we would do if he actually got us promoted. He definitely won’t hack it in L1, so it’s either another few months of going backwards in L1until he gets fired, or fire a manager before the season starts. Difficult if he has just got you promoted.

I honestly believe your owner has based his choice purely on the 2 games we played against you this season. It was a very quick decision if all parties are to be believed.

The Bury fans comments when he joined us were pretty spot on.

He has in midfield, but then again so did evans to a degree. I'll obviously give the lad time, but it appears more that somehow our confidence has dropped - but this pre-dated flitcroft and came about at home to Coventry.

He's got a chance to make himself a hero, but likewise, if we fall out of the playoffs by the end of the season, the fans will be on his case from the get-go next season - trust me, if there's a critical bunch of fans, it's the Mansfield lot

If we fall out of the top 7 there will be no excuses whatsoever and for me he wouldn’t even be taking us into the next season if that were the case. Our first 3 games have all been underwhelming, We were a couple of minutes away from beating Lincoln and conceded very late on which has happened a few times this season in fairness but other than the goal we created nothing. Colchester at home was an ok first half but second half was appalling. County away was poor until the final 15/20 minutes.

We need to win Saturday, I’m not only expecting a win but a performance aswell with some of this football he’s been talking about. If we can get 5 points from the next 3 games (FGR A, Accy H, Luton A) then we’ve got a good chance at top 7, anything less and I feel we’ll have to go on some run to give ourselves a chance.
