Hasselbaink would not leave Burton for you. Guaranteed.
Ooooo touched a neve have we?
Hasselbaink is highly rated, and he can and will do much better than Rotherham.
Yes i am not disputing Championship finances, i am saying in League one and Two with both Crawley and Rovrum he had loads to spend hence they rightly were expected to go up, now they are a small fish in a big pond and one of the lowest budgets and spenders.
Rammy are you waiting for the fans to turn on Clements with his Derby brand of tikka takka football so you can pinch another of our managers?Hasselbaink would not leave Burton for you. Guaranteed.
If he will do much better than Rotherham, then he will do much better than Derby.
Which means he will jump straight from a League 2 club, had one good season and will secure a Premiership club.
You may be right, but it would only end on tears.
If he's that good, he wouldn't be at Burton Albion.

When will the dream end?Nah please try and keep Hasselbaink. Would absolutely love it if you got promoted again, and if you keep hold of him I could see it happening!
Better facilities? I don't think so. Don't Burton train at St George's park? Not sure you could get much better than that as a training ground.Hasselbaink wouldn't leave Burton for us? Based on what exactly? He'd be bonkers not to.
He'd triple his wages, triple the crowds his team plays in front of, much better ground and facilities, raise his own profile, test himself against better managers and use it as a stepping stone if he is good enough to bigger and better things.
I know you big eared boys on farms in Derby and Burton like to look out for one another, but what you said is night on ridiculous.
He probably won't even make the shortlist as he's not proven at this level.

We own our own ground all paid for with no debt and the ground contains plenty of good quality corporate and hospitality facilitiesOk, fine if they still train there?
But I mean better facilities in terms of assets we own (corporate and hospitality facilities within the ground).
Burton are forunate to be training there. it's nothing to do with Burton Albion.
Absolute stunned! very strange decision from the board after winning back to back matches, cant be for football reasons why he's been sacked.
...
...and we'll suffer from this point onwards.
... I'm extremely sad.
...I'm also concerned about there we go from here.
Sorry to hear that you are gutterd [sic], suffering, extremely sad and extremely concerned.
Still, look on the bright side, at least your sadness will cheer the rest of the forum up.
On the bright side, kudos for admitting, above, to trying to use inside information for financial gain.
Stayed off here as it's fucking boring, other forum was much busier.
I know there'd be people desperate to see what I thought...

What a sad and quite frankly ridiculous decision to let him leave, we will do no better and it just signs off our relegation (which wouldn't have happend if he stayed). There's only one reason for it and all it could possibly be and that's that Tont Stewart won't let new signings leave (agree with him), won't renew exisiting loan deals or sanction new ones, Evans said fuck it I'll leave then and Tony Stewart said no worries. Trigger for it would have been renewing Vadis' loan deal, we were paying 12k a week of his wages (massive amount for us) and Tony Stewart obviously didn't fancy it any longer. Ironically that also would have been the compromise in the situation they should have settled on, just renew Vadis' loan deal and leave everything else be (fucking good player btw too).
So now we lose our greatest ever manger (on a par with Ronnie IMO) and we'll be worse off for it. Steve Evans will succeed wherever he goes and we'll suffer from this point onwards.
Had the very best of my footballing memories because of Steve Evans and countless nights out and weekends away because of where he's took us, so I'm not affraid to say I love the man and that I'm extremely sad.
I'm also concerned about there we go from here. (It'll be Eric Black on a permanent basis so he can sack him and start again when we go down).
My pick would be Nigel Pearson, his son has been training with us for two months with Guly Do Prado (who Tony Stewart won't sign) but I know that won't happen. Failing that bring back King Ronnie.
Read the very first post...Don't flatter yourself mate, nobody missed the forum punch bag. Besides you only crawl from under you rock when you win a couple, probably wont see you again this season.
Tha's more chance of John Pearson kidda, spoke to Big Nige recently, Rotherham is definitely beneath him.
Nigel Pearson?! Slightly overambitious..Stayed off here as it's fucking boring, other forum was much busier.
