Bit of a 'nothing' game for us, as we have secured our League 2 status for next season. I still want us to put in a good performance and hopefully get the 3 points, or at least 1 point.

Stevenage, on the other hand, need a win to secure their play off position.

Earlier in the season, we comfortably beat Stevenage 3-0, but I'm not expecting similar come the weekend.

I'm gonna predict a 2-1 away win, although a point would be alright.

The pressure on these players has been released.

I think we'll play with freedom and win 3-1.

I hope we stuff them and Westley cries in the post-match interview after being humbled by such a 'big football club' and seeing 'natural order restored' (both GW quotes after our win earlier in the season).

Westley seems weirdly obsessed by us, I love watching his little meltdowns whenever we meet. As HG says, now the pressure is off us we don't have to play especially defensive football, so I see it going back to the way it was when it was impossible for us to draw games, with the added bonus of not being worried about relegation. 3-1 sounds good to me. Anyone know if Wyke might return? I know Asamoah is injured and can see Paynter starting. I expect Buddle will start too as Curle will want a better look at him.

Wyke only had a knock so I would imagine he'd be back, or hopefully at least because he's our best option up front by quite a way for me. Him and Paynter up front would be interesting. Buddle deserves a proper shot having come on a few times and not done much wrong, and i'd like CMW to come in as well. Stick with the same midfield which hopefully will be our midfield all through next season.

I agree with that, its first game for 2 years we've no pressure, no negativity, a positive buzz about the squad.

think we may win this by afew goals, Curle for once away won't play 10-0-0

Can see it being like the Tranmere game in all honesty, I'd say another 2-2 draw would be fairly likely, as long as Luton or Plymouth lose I don't really care though!

As long as it's a decent game I'd be happy with a 2-2.

But honestly think with nothing to play for we'll win.

I don't know, it obviously all depends on how the players have prepared during the week seeing as they've no reason to be massively motivated any more. Could go either way due to that, but if they have treated it like another serious game I think we can win it.

Curle must just not give a single fuck about anything, what the hell is he wearing hahaha. Surprised we've let Kyle Dempsey that close to the train line, he's pretty much the entire value of the club, wouldn't want him injuring/killing himself.

My favourite thing is Derek Asamoah. Why would you put the shortest man in the entire squad on the back row? He must be standing on something just for the top of his head to be in view.

Also Colin West rocking the trainers with no socks look.

Bloody hell how tall is Nathan Buddle?? Mark Beck is around 6"6 and he's only slightly shorter than him, and Potts is also probably 6"1/6"2 and he's quite a bit taller than him. I only had him down as about 6"3.

According to wikipedia Buddle is 6'3" and Potts is 6'2", that doesn't look right going of that photo, maybe Buddle is more like 6'4", and Potts might not be standing up straight.

I was assuming CMW was injured, and in any case we all know Grainger has his spot nailed down in the team.

According to CMW he's not injured anymore, obviously lacking match fitness but needs games for that. Anyway, I'd like to see him tried in that LCB role, whether it be tomorrow or pre season.

CMW tweeted 5 hours ago that he was going to the gym, so I'm guessing he isn't with the squad in Stevenage.

Then maybe look to throw Potts and Beck on in the second half. Perhaps Paul Corry could figure as well as Curle has hinted both he and Kennedy are the sorts of players we should be looking to sign, and both are out of contract in the summer.

Where's Danny Kearns at by the way? He hasn't been seen since the Accrington game.
