A tricky one for the Grecians against something of a bogey side.
Based on last week's rather disjointed performance against the Macc I can see no better than a draw for us

Hard to know what to expect tomorrow. Stevenage has a tough first game and a poor result so I expect them to improve against us.

We were lacklustre against Macc but got the job done, but we need to improve massively otherwise I can see a loss.

I’d take a point to be honest.

I think the manager is having problems deciding who should be playing central midfield for us, and must know that Law should be in there, but seems hesitant to change things to enable this to happen. Hopefully he actually does it today, as I'm sure it will reap dividends and he will probably sleep better tonight. If he makes the call I reckon we win, if he doesn't I will be happy with a point.

Looked like the game was heading to a 0-0 draw which would have been a fitting scoreline for such a dreadful game of football. Exeter were marginally better than we were but produced the one moment of quality to win the game.

Opening couple of matches haven't been a good watch, we look totally devoid of any sort of game plan which is concerning, as is our total lack of creativity. Not going to jump on the "Dino Out" bandwagon just yet, but the early signs aren't looking good.

Good win and from the commentary it sounded like we were the better team in the final 30 minutes once again, which is encouraging.

Law is class and luckily the ball fell to him and he scored a bit of a belter.

Stevenage are tough opponents and forced Ward into an early save but otherwise it sounded like we kept them at arms length.

2 games, 2 wins and 2 clean sheets. Happy with that. Swindon next week will be much tougher and it will be good to see a decent crowd at SJP with a good away following

Whilst we have started with 2 wins, Saturday's game is, for me, a huge test. Exeter seem to have our number recently and while we look a different beast this season I'm very wary against a very good league 2 side.

Doughty v Law should be an epic midfield battle. I get the feeling Law might be too cute and Doughty does tend to have a bit of petulance in him so could be running a disciplinary tightrope. Law is clearly a class act and makes Exeter tick.

He's been subbed off in both matches so far and hasn't looked very effective.

However, this is mainly because he's been somewhat starved of any decent service as our central midfield isn't balanced and seems to have been playing too defensively. He isn't the type of striker who can feed off balls in from the flanks after all.
