I'm five thousand miles away but a small piece of me still sits in the Maple. I feel we need to set a new precedent of not just firing people when it goes short term wrong. Admittedly I don't sit and watch it and it's been bad for a year but - He has the ability has proven his worth and deserves the rest of the season.

Happy with who we got thanks, you on the other hand last season on 1FF wanted Curle out  And don't lie as i know what shite you come out with that's why you got banned from 1FF "For being a tedious troll who abuses everyone" according to the mods, you have not been missed but i let The League 2 forum posters know what crap you post on here

You tell them child mods that they killed the place by expelling me and you tell the L2 fans (Which is hardly any) to come to this site instead which is far superior. Do you agree?

I use both as i like 1FF now they've banned quite a few knobheads lately just a few more to go. I enjoy this site as well as there are some decent posters on here and not that many wums.

11 goals conceded in the last 3 matches, 8 of those goals at home. If I were a Hatter then I would only want one thing. Still out.

He has put Hayrettin out to speak for him who has said the defenders have to take responsibility.

What a wimp.

I believe he is on a rolling year contract so I doubt the pay off would be huge. Not sure who to replace him with but ultimately that isn't my job - we have been shockingly bad for over a year now and it is so painfully obvious that we need a change that it isn't really up for debate anymore. I was on the Still IN bandwagon for so long but at this point it is more or less indefensible

We Are Luton Town
The controllables are no longer controllable and we have no idea how to control the controllables. ..
and even if we could control the controllables we would have little or no idea how to implement the control over the controllables.
So it is our assumption that we are clearly up the junction !!!

In his Thursday pre match interview on Hattersplayer he said that his contract was until the end of next season. I've no idea how much it would cost to pay him off, and presumably his coaching team (and neither does anyone else on here before someone starts quoting figures), but it wouldn't be cheap.
Pity.

I get the feeling it's why he has been so blasé about it all really. He knows he is going to get paid either way.

Maybe, but this surely cannot be the way he would want to end his career in football. I wish that he had done the honourable thing before it had got to this stage. It has turned too nasty now, and over the last twelve months he has lost most of the goodwill that he built up two seasons ago. His interviews become more delusional by the week - saying that he feels no pressure as he doesn't think that he is doing anything wrong, and on a weekly basis saying that he will carry on doing the same things that he has always done. Little recognition that the majority of the players are his, as are the coaches, team selection, tactics, style of play, etc,etc.. I can put up with losing, we've had plenty of practice, but the football is dire, and has been for a long time. I just don't look forward to games at the moment.
Did anyone else hear Tyler's interview last week when he said that we had plenty of good footballers at the club, but weren't getting the best out of them? If that isn't implied criticism I don't know what is.
Very sad.

They can have Allen but please not Still. Both set their teams up to play very dull football which is only bearable when it brings success

£150,000 pay off then. Plus the two coaches. Probably another £50,000. Not cheap despite a lot of fans demanding it.

League Two Luton Town sack manager Still
stream_img.jpg

John Still has left Luton. Credit: PA
Luton Town manager John Still has parted with the League Two club, it has been confirmed.

Still leaves the club after two and a half years in charge, in which time he lead them back into the Football League in 2014.

It with much regret that Luton Town Football Club announce the parting of company with manager John Still by mutual consent.

After an inconsistent past 12 months of performances and results on the field, all of the Hatters’ Board felt, with a heavy heart, that a change in manager was necessary in order to turn around the team’s fortunes which has seen the Town slip to 17th place in the League 2 table.

Don't worry mowgli. Easy three points with Harriman scoring at least one.

___ attacker who preyed on women at train stations jailed for five years.jpg
be afraid,be very afraid people.
now its not still still and with our squad getting back to fitness,we can soon put the square blocks back into the square holes and whoever takes over the reins will have the rest of the season to achieve the minimum expected of claiming one of the playoff places....onwards and upwards

Can I have some of what you're on please?

Nice thinking, but I think we can write this season off, and spend the rest of it preparing for next season's 'Operation P1ss the League'.
