I have spent the evening rebuilding usergroup permissions to ensure adverts display correctly based on usergroup permissions. Furthermore, the new way they have been constructed should be much less server intensive and I'd like to think it will have a positive impact on page loads for all users.

I have also edited .htaccess to redirect all www. requests to non www - this should resolve the issue of users randomly being logged out new page (seemingly randomly). If you do still experience this issue please let me know in this thread so I am aware it's not resolved.

I'm having a problem. Whenever I quote someone and it appears in the text box, I can't use the trackpad on my computer to highlight parts of the quote by clicking and dragging. If I click and drag, it just highlights the entire paragraph which makes deleting unnecessary parts of quotes a pain in the arse. On my phone I can do it, so it's not a massive problem. Just slightly annoying. Using Safari on a Macbook if that makes a difference?

All through reading that I was thinking "he's using a Mac/similar", and sure enough.
I get the exact same annoyance on the odd occasion I use the misses' iPad, I find it's very fiddly in that OS / Browser to highlight specific text of a paragraph on a web page. I thought maybe people who use it all the time might get a 'nack' to it? Because as I only pick up an iOS device now and again.

Not sure there's much I can suggest to help in this instance. Hopefully there's someone else more knowledgeable than I on that platform who can suggest something.

If you highlight part of a post (if you can do that), it should come up with a reply button which will only quote the highlighted part.
