Improved 2nd half from Crewe. On top until he took Holicek off (what a silly substitution again).

Pretty boring watching Crewe play Football.

Great to finally turn up at home against a good team, looks like we couldn't have picked a better time to play Vale bang out of form and low on confidence.
Happy as a pig in shit.

Fucking hell Ripley :lol::lol:

Utter shambles. Fair play to Grimsby, good team and deserve the win but Jesus Christ Vale.
Embarrassing, maybe Moore’s Fleetwood moment and hopefully be gone tonight. Can’t tolerate much more of his football and wasting this squad.

In reality that's a good point away at MK. However, we've now had three chances to go second and blown them all - we just can't win games for some reason.
It's the managers style to be risk averse.

Well we stopped the rot of our 3 game losing streak. A point was probably fair to both us and Crewe really in the end and a useful result against a decent side.

This is a very bizarre league like it was last season. Salford have come from nowhere and now are 6th. We are 11th after 3 losses in a row but can still go above Bradford, Chesterfield, Grimsby, Port Vale and Doncaster Rovers if we win our two games in hand and so could easily be 6th again in not too long. Topsy turvy until March/April time I reckon when eventually 3 top teams will emerge (looks like Walsall are this year’s Stockport but still early). Looks like any team from the top 14 or so could challenge for the top 7…

She won’t sack him, can tell you that for a fact. As I say if we serve this up against Cheltenham at VP can see things getting pretty ill-tempered.

Mental free kick given by a piss poor referee.2-0, game over, Moore out. Refs out. Everyone out.
Ref had a shocker for both sides, you're not wrong there.

Poor defending of some sort for every goal by Vale.15 minute or so period in the second half at 1-0 aside.that was a comfortable win for us in which we played some decent stuff. Once we get hold of the ball after the aforementioned period of Vale pressure we saw some absolutely vintage Danny Rose chasing and free kick winning.

Helps when the opposition's attack is half made up of guys walking around flicking their Grealish haircuts out of their eyes for three quarters of an entire match. You lot definitely weren't wrong about you being crap at the moment. Cleethorpes in late December and then treated to that performance, harsh on those travelling fans.

You’d hope she’d learn from last season, only bail out for Moore is huge spending in January but that covers the cracks.

Garrity is now mid Jan, at least we were absolutely solid enough to grind out a point in this run but now even that’s gone, keeper letting anything in, playing our biggest defence and falling to pieces on set pieces.

Actually nervously considering how many points we need to ensure safety at this point.

That will be Chislett, complete show-pony. Everything he does looks tidy with very little in the way of end product or conviction right now. No taking credit away from you guys though, Artell done a very good job with that team. Pressed well and some cohesion on the ball, the things we didn’t do.

It is incredible we are almost in the year 2025 and refs are still falling for Danny Rose but more than that my word the half hearted attempt at marking up on what was a pretty innocuous set piece was jaw-dropping.

Us being 2nd is mental, we’ve spent most of this season calling for our manager’s head, been poor whenever we’ve played a decent team and had our best player out with a broken leg. Aside from Walsall, I can’t remember League 2 ever being this tight and unpredictable

Game of two halves today we were poor first half but much better in the second Nathan Lowe has to be the best young striker in the division missed a couple today but kept going and his second was a fantastic finish I just hope we can keep him here now.

Brilliant game, loved it. Think we deserved it but both teams really good.

Slightly tempered by being thrown out on 85 for taking a wrong turn after going for a piss, stepping half a yard out the ground and not being allowed back in.

The clip of their goal where Ripley gets tackled is pretty X rated… literally shrugs his shoulders whilst Hennigan makes a half arsed effort to close him down.

Feels like the last season of downing tools going on again.

An unlikely 1:1 draw with both teams scoring in the first 9 minutes. Other than that Bellshaw saving a penalty in the 90th minute was the only moment of interest. Frankly I'm more than happy with 1 point aways from home and a break from losing home and away.

Well if Vale were 2nd, every team has a chance. Yes, we all have injuries but god they were totally toothless. Think Wright had one save to make and that was pretty routine.

Vale certainly had the benefit of some generous refereeing, how number22 stayed on the pitch was bizarre, an utter thug.

Looked like Darren Moore and the players were getting some stick at the end from the visiting fans who remained. Have to say the 700 or so were amongst the quietest I have witnessed for many a year. Tbf, they had little to cheer about.

On that showing the top budget in the league looks to have been pissed up the wall

Shambles. We had the league in our hands, came up against a few tests recently and have completely bottled it. Players out of position, highest ever earner constantly injured, captain out for months for the 3rd season in a row, and the rest of the players just don't have the character needed in L2 despite having the talent (except for Debrah, that lad is non league standard, complete liability).

The fact we're joint 2nd (4th on gd, probably 5th tomorrow) is a damning indictment on this shocking league. We've basically had the last 2 months off, yet still are somehow up there (for now).

Taken 2k+ to our last 2 games, at an expensive time of year, with another away game on Saturday, and the players just don't give a shit. Not fucking good enough. I don't want Moore out, I just want him and the players to start earning their fucking money.

Better 2nd half after a pretty tame 1st half. Could have won it if we had gone for a bit bit more, but after defeat on boxing day I'll take a point as I was expecting to get beat today. Blatant penalty not given on Bogle in injury time, surprised other than Bogle there weren't more appeals, the MK defender nearly ripped his shirt off. Got to back this up with some positives results at home now, could and will probably end up being in 8th come tomorrow, but still in a good position.

We downed tools weeks ago.
Mistakes are not addressed.
Why is Debrah playing over Smith?
He is absolute cack.
But…
As has been said, and shite as we are, we’re in the mix.
It could turn on a sixpence and we’re right back in it.
Saying that Moore is wank at his job.
I’ve thought it from the start.
A decent manager keeps us up last year.
I’d give him the season, he’ll do well if we finish 12th.
He’s on wedge, for 5 years.

Jesse Debrah, he's a total clutz. Not a malicious or particularly aggressive player but keeping him on the pitch is the oppositions best weapon right now.

Debrah a thug? Wish he was! Weak as most weeks!

Surely time to give Smith a run out… who actually is a bit of one!

That’s Moore for you… he has the tools but left our main striker at home (assume rested), plays a kid up front who’s been rubbish bar the odd moment of poaching and the other two highly spent strikers he sticks out of position.

We are second as we were very very good until Garrity got injured in late October… since then with no midfield we’ve gone to pieces (again). We’ve spent most of our budget on warming the treatment room.

Impressed by Chesterfield. Probably the best team I've seen at home. Think a draw would have been a fair result. Thought it would have been a better game if it wasn't for the ref blowing for absolutely everything. Still not convinced by us. Defence is too leaky and we don't create enough. Hopefully, we can fix that in the Jan window. Good luck for the rest of the season Chesterfield fans. Great following and noise.

2 points dropped. Penalty in last minute and absolute shocker taken by MOM Patterson - work that one out. Fleetwood possession and overall work rate deserved better, but take nothing away from Harrogate who defended tremendously all the game. New manager will be disappointed but performance was streets ahead of what we have seen recently
