I wished they spent more time with Jonny Williams. He seemed like a great kid who was realising he was reaching a bit of a cross roads in his career and struggling to come to terms with where he was, yet still managing to keep dignified about it. Seemed like a much more interesting character than some of the others who were more heavily featured.

Understandable as the documentary was about Sunderland as a whole, but I almost wished the "story" would divert and follow him a little bit more!

I think it was interesting to hear Honeyman's views on what was going on. Seemed to have his head in the right place when perhaps other players didn't as much. I don't think Steele came across very well at all.

Nah mate, it’s still very much rough around the edges. It’s a city that fell out of love with football mind, not that it’s much of a footballing city anyway.
I'll agree with this tbf.

I loved it, I especially loved the over confidence from an egotistical PL club entering the Championship like "should easily get automatic promotion"

good watch

Sunderland have rebranded their shirt from last season to the 'Netflix season 1 shirt'.

Come on, Sunderland. You are better than that.
