Jack Rodwell and Jeremain Lens return to Sunderland's squad after missing last week's win at Norwich because of illness and injury respectively.

Fabio Borini is also fit despite hurting his shin in that game.

Giroud starting is confusing.

He's in awful form, the worst he's ever been in for Arsenal. He has also backed this up with the single most irrelevant performance I've seen from a striker this season against West Brom and he's back in the side.

Had Welbeck or Walcott given that performance we wouldn't see them start a game for a least 5... but Giroud gets back in and is playing just as shit as ever, constantly running beyond the front post. Seriously just fuck him off to the bench for the rest of the season.

2 50/50 penalty shouts and 2 awful dives, Defoe and Elneny both deserve bans for that blatant cheating. About time the Fa started retrospectively banning players for diving.

In a season this team should have gone for the title, they are in typical fashion struggling for top 4. I've seen more penetration in a convent, why the fuck did Giroud start this game? It's the same every game, he does nothing all game, Walcott comes on and does nothing (completely bottled that challenge against Kaboul when Mannone was out of goal...£140k/week for fucking what now?). Why are either of these players getting in the team above Welbeck and Campbell, whose performances have been much better?

In typical Wenger style he makes no subs until 70 minutes again. Why does he need to wait so long every game? Just dreadful.

Fair result. Abject shit. Ozil has checked out. He cannot be bothered anymore.
