The 'beat the big teams, lose or draw to the little teams' that the usual suspects are banging on about after last night's result doesn't really apply this season. Out of our 24 league games this season, approximately 15 of them have been against teams you would expect to finish around middtable or below. And before last night we had lost none and had drawn 4. It really is an outdated stereotype.

Shit like last night simply happens occasionally. Our attackers had an off night, and when you combine that with the setup Swansea used (at home but out and out defence at all times with a goal from a set piece) sometimes you just need to accept it's not going to be your game.

Err no - just because you were playing the bottom team does not automatically mean the bottom team must succumb to your flat track bullying exploits. Did you not hear "The Carlos" speak after the game? He said think of it as F1 - a F1 car is very fast, in F1 - put a F1 car in London traffic and it'd be no good. That is what we did to you - we took the flat track away - we've laid the blueprint in how to combat Liverpool's bullying ways - if other teams have any sense they will replicate.

Gotta be impressed with "The Carlos" so far - I just hope the board help him out so he isn't trying to create mircacles with the squad he has every matchday. Last night was a huge game - one we needed to win regardless of who the opposition were - we're back in the mixer now - we just need some fresh blood to boost momentum.
