Ah they'll get over it. Kind of makes up for Koby trying to wind up your lot after we scored. Also kinda funny how both of them were at fault for one of the goals their team let in as well.

If it makes you Macc fans feel any better*, we absolutely shat on Swindon last season with the worst penalty decision I’ve ever seen given for us.

Why was the Macclesfield manager in one breath moaning about the ref wanting to be the star of the show then in another being quite honest and saying they were penalties?

Sounds like the ref was only doing his job then rather than trying to make a name for himself ?

His complaint was that he hadn't originally given the first penalty and gave offside instead (which would have been a mistake - the offside came after the foul) but he then changed his mind after seemingly being confronted by Swindon players. But no complaints from anyone about whether they were actually fouls or not.

Fair enough - yes I did notice there was a delay in giving the decision and some input from Swindon players but we all do that now - trying to influence the ref!
