Missing 4 key players through international call-ups and injury.

Swindon should probably have been down to ten before they scored their first.

We were denied a stonewall penalty.

All that aside, the 11 players that did play had a duty to perform, they were a disgrace and we thoroughly deserved to lose the game so not blaming any of the above on the result.

I said all the way through the summer that we had a serious lack of depth in that squad and so it proved in this first game where we really had to dig into the squad to find replacements for the missing players.

Again, Slade proves to be completely out of his depth with his non-existent tactics and his pointless substitutions, can't wait for him to be gone, past caring who replaces him now too.

Lastly, I went round to my Dad's to watch this as opposed to going to the pub and fuck me, how does any Charlton fan watch this turgid shit sober?

Your bloke who only got a yellow for that studs up challenge on either Crofts or Foley in the first half, can't remember which one. Red card in my eyes.

As I say though, in no way would that have affected the game as we were so piss poor anyway.

My thoughts on Swindon are that you looked very positive going forward, although that may have just been the quality of your opposition but need a lot of work at the back, as poor as we were we could have punished you a couple of times and a better side would have.

Thanks FD. Sounds like deja vu for us. As soon as we concede we fold like a cheap suit, often pathetically. I haven't watched them but the goals conceded were seemingly schoolboy. We don't have the heart, desire, fight or resolve in this team and it's killing us at the moment.

We beat you 3-0 a month or so ago and then without a recognised striker in their XI you rout us 4-0. We are abject at the moment and going absolutely backwards/downwards.
