The amount of Bristol City fans posting in this thread is a tad cringeworthy.
I agreeThe amount of Bristol City fans posting in this thread is a tad cringeworthy.
Who doesn't love Gillingham?
We always get a good result against them, and they have just absolutely dicked Swindon on their own patch.
Bizarrely other results mean nothing has really changed points wise.
Time for us to get our shit together now though.
The City fans are like a grotesque cumulative fart stinking the place up.
Won't have to worry to much longer
From our point of view I suspect it all stems down to our encounter earlier in the season, a lot of rivalry has surfaced from that game and a lot of goading from both sets of fans. Luckily for us, the season at present is seemingly falling in our favour. Not really, Jon. I could understand if we were neck and neck and we'd just fucked up to give you top spot but we're 12 points behind you for Christ's sake, there really is no need for post upon post from Bristol City fans in a Swindon vs Gillingham matchday thread, particularly as they are largely offering neither insight or discussion.

Gills were 1 place and 2 points above the drop when we played them in the league at the end of December. Now they're 4 off the play-offs.
So it's a 'they'd do so we should do it' thing? All seems a bit childish to me. There's 12 points between our teams now, I don't think you should be worrying or caring about Swindon Town any more. From our point of view I suspect it all stems down to our encounter earlier in the season, a lot of rivalry has surfaced from that game and a lot of goading from both sets of fans. I have no doubt that if the boot was on the other foot, swindon fans would be doing exactly the same.
Yep, it just feels a lot worse because there are so many City fans on here. Maybe 1 in 3 fans would taunt. On here that means about 2 Swindon fans would do it, whereas about 12 City fans do.From our point of view I suspect it all stems down to our encounter earlier in the season, a lot of rivalry has surfaced from that game and a lot of goading from both sets of fans. I don't doubt that, but at the time our teams were in close proximity to each other in the league. I'm not sure what City fans hope to achieve by goading fans of a team 12 points behind their own. It's been happening both ways, when we have slipped up in the past some swindon fans have been on our threads
Probably exactly the same as any other fans of any other team when they do it tooI don't doubt that, but at the time our teams were in close proximity to each other in the league. I'm not sure what City fans hope to achieve by goading fans of a team 12 points behind their own.
That's my thoughts too tbhAs far as I'm concerned, up until tonight, Swindon were still a major threat to our position, after tonight - maybe not, but I'm still delighted with tonight.
You've completely missed the point. They cant take it now, they were all into mocking us back in November and now the shoe is on the other foot they cant handle it. What goes around has come around, so deal with it good or badly.
Who's not able to 'take it'?They cant take it now, they were all into mocking us back in November and now the shoe is on the other foot they cant handle it. What goes around has come around, so deal with it good or badly.
Not at all, you are a local rival you gave It large back im November and now the shoe is on the other foot you cant handle it. Thats Football pal, good luck with your playoff scrap. You've completely missed the point.
Who's not able to 'take it'?
This threads been nothing but Gillingham and Bristol City fans giving each other hand jobs. None of our lot have lashed out whatsoever.
