Banton was with us until Tamplin and his money came calling. He always struck me as a level headed lad, but based on his comment above it appears his head has been turned big time.
Jason Banton was a weird one. He was class for us back in 2012 or 2013 (one of the two), and basically kept us in the football league on his own. He then went to L1, it didn’t work out so he came back on a permanent deal with us and just wasn’t the same player. He’s been dropping down the leagues further and further ever since. Ending up in deepest darkest Cornwall at Truro in a team that got relegated to the Southern South League Division or whatever it’s called was a new low.
I think he's probably got a lot of natural ability that catches the eye of coaches, but he's had a ridiculous number of different clubs and seems to have made little impression at most of them for whatever reason. Much like Rhys Murrell-Williamson, who had a sensational start with Dulwich four seasons ago when he was dual registered with Hayes, then lost his way as soon as we signed him on a contract.Banton was with us until Tamplin and his money came calling. Rhead has done a podcast for Undr The Cosh and he says it's as baffling to be within the whole thing as it seems from the outside.
When Tamplin wanted Rhead gone, he was threatening him and all sorts. He said to Rhead in front of others that he was earning 3x everyone else so he wanted 3x as much from him and Rhead was like, how can I do that when you're not even playing me?![]()

Where is this episode? Had a look on YouTube and Apple podcasts but can’t seem to find it. I’m presuming it’s a patreon? If so I’m debating signing up.

I must apologise to the supporters old and new, that performance was not acceptable I am embarrassed to say that it is the team I am paying to go out and represent Romford FC.

If my players don’t want to give me and the badge 100% they can go.. we will see who wants to stay!!
After watching the last few performances with the coaches, we will be losing some of our squad and looking to add some players that want to show us some desire and fight to help us start getting results. we will be holding trials this Saturday..time and place TBA

I assume he was talking about someone else but I've no idea who."I'm a man that takes hardly anything"
I think that's pitching a bit high. Quest Red might give it a shot if there's plenty of coverage of the WAGs.He's desperate for a show on ITVBe isn't he.
Give it half an hour..
