Congrats on your victory SUTSS, anyone who wins this must be made of the right stuff!

Superbly run and put together by LR though, the amount of work that must've went into this was simply astonishing. :)

Heat of the moment stuff Lee, in an extremely competetive arena.

You're a fine fellow mate.

Hey Spidey, you must have missed the part where Lee voted for me and I ended up going out. :told:

You're welcome, SUTSS.

See, it was all part of a long term investment. I know that in stealing your stickers, it'd fire you up to the point where you'd be able to come out of this a winner. Look at it, how many people say you "flew under the radar" to start with... but once I took those stickers you suddenly emerged, the rebirth of SUTSS, champion of TFF Survivor: China.

That aside...

Kudos LR on running yet another brilliant Survivor. They're always great, but my biggest regret is how little I was around for it this time. Horrific luck with the timing of most of it, I happened to work a lot more evenings than I usually do and my work days/days off just would not sync up with the games at all.

Grats to SUTSS for the win, and Don for making the final. While I'd have still preferred to see more of the attitude we had in the latter stages last time around, I think it's hard to say that your participation in the final was unjustified in the end. It takes a hell of a lot to do what you guys did.

So I guess all that remain to be said is…...where are we going next?..........

We are heading to Central America…..Nicaragua to be exact! For......

TAxmIEa.png

In the next season of Survivor, when you are voted off you will not be immediately eliminated from the game but instead head to Redemption Island, where you will face other contestants who have been voted off in elimination duels. Survive long enough on Redemption Island and you will return to the game as an equal!

Hope. Loss. REDEMPTION.

Coming in the future to 1FF!

I would say like do it NAO but honestly, I thought China came a bit too soon after South Africa. I dunno, it felt like it to me. But still. WHEN?

Howard Brown returns!

These brave souls will enter a god forsaken and terrifying place, on a search for the priceless treasure that can be found there. It won’t be easy though as this treasure is guarded by some of the most fearsome beasts and monsters ever known. Some are even unknown to the world, but that only makes this challenge more chilling.

The adventurers will need to make decisions on the equipment they use as well as mode of transport they use to travel such as on foot, horseback, go-kart.....maybe they will even come across a motorbike or two!

Along with the treasure, the explorers will also need to find the keys they need to get out of this desperate place and get home with the treasure alive……

Oh LR, you do spoil us. In fact, you're being 1FF knighted. I hereby state we all refer to you as Sir LR from now on. Two great games to look forward to by the sounds. I love the Survivor twist that elimination is not the end.

I actually forgot that I got to the final of the Mole. Harv, what was the final challenge, it's completely gone out of my head?

I'd also forgotten about poker in the first Survivor. That was a superb round, apart from when Lord Hatter Dave turned up and fucked all of our chips away.

I think we had to control a horse and direct it to different locations, whilst Argyle_Dude was trying to sabotage it and keep the horse away from the locations, right LR?

Yep that was the last part for the final. Well kind of. :hesk: You were actually controlling yourselves and trying to find the horse based on some clues, which was at a set location.

do3LwId.png

(Look at the top left corner - a sign of things to come )

First part you had to match some pictures to the previous challenges in the game they represented and I remember Argyle Dude deliberately messing one of those up which Lee jumped all over.

Ha. Watching those characters was all like "hm, good people so far, can't go wrong here... OMG FUCKING LOCKE YES THAT'S MY TEAM FUCKING OOOOOHHHH SSHHIIIIITTTT IT'S HOWARD WTF!!!!"

Such is Howard's star quality that I almost felt like I had to ask your permission to use him. ;)

Can't believe that the Nike moment was always destined to happen. You planted THE SEEEEED... and Steady watched it grow, without knowing he was.

Even though I've only been spectating this time, looks like it's been another great game. Congratulations SUTSS on a deserved victory, and well done to LR for continuing to think up new and interesting challenges.

Three strong looking tribes there. Wei Ao Song have arguably the strongest tribe on paper, but I'm backing Juan Tou Ken to be the leaders going into the single tribe stage. I think SUTSS, Magic and Blade1889 are dark horses to win this.
Called it. :cool1:

Just been reading through that glorious 2 days worth of posts in this thread.
I'd be honoured to win the hissy fit award for my contribution in here...

Finished reading back through this (well I was making a back up based on what happened with the TFFpocalypse, and of course ended up reading it) and I noticed I didn’t properly thank everyone for playing and do any kind of write up/review post (better late than never!). South Africa was an extremely well contested season, and I think this just about topped it as far as contestant contributions go! - even some people who went out early gave it a great go (Dave especially) whilst they were in it and I’m sure would have carried on in the same manner had they managed to stay in.

SUTSS probably surprised a few people (including me!) but was a very worthy winner. Not just for his alliances and social game but for winning 3 individual immunity challenges. He was also part of a Toucan tribe that did extremely well. Having said that, I like to think that in Survivor as long as you are in the game you have a valid claim to win. So if in the future someone struggles to win challenges, but manages to hang in there somehow, I hope that they feel they have a right to go all out to win in the late stages of the game.

I could name everyone, but Bottega Don was one of the stars of the show and though he came up a little short in the final he can give himself a huge pat of the back - definitely played a huge part in the game. Hopefully you will be back next time to go one better!

This Charming Mike played a fantastic game and was unlucky in the manner he went out. Magic was a dangerous player. Understandably things crop up which caused him to miss a few of the later challenges but he managed his alliance stuffs well to get to the final three, and fair play to him for that.

Cardsfan – Another part of the Toucan success. Missing the vote deadline when Mike was eliminated probably cost him a place in the final 3 and maybe more.

Steady – I don’t normally talk about who people vote (or don’t vote :hesk: ) for but as it’s common knowledge I’m going to give you the benefit and put that final 10 vote down to (flawed) tactics rather than forgetfulness. :hesk: I did feel a bit bad for you in the throwing challenge and was hoping you got lucky with one of the throws that you didn’t have to make during someone else’s coughing fit. Still at least you answering so many questions correctly made that challenge more interesting ;)

Leewilson – Led the Wei Ao Song tribe well and I appreciate you being a fighting champion (*nudges Veggie* ;) )

Stagat – Consistently strong in the challenges.

HarvSFC – Probably nestled in the game nicely until Steady’s lack of a vote in the final 10.

Oaf bemoaned himself a few times for being at work when quite a few of the challenges were on, and was voted out just after the merge. However, he did have some very big moments, including winning a crucial tiebreaker for Wei Ao Song and some big points in the riddle challenge.

Wei Ao Song were pipped to 1st quite a few times by Juan Tou Ken but after going there first they did well to go on a long run of Tribal Council avoidance. This allowed them to reach the merge with even numbers compared to the Toucans which considering how dominant Juan Tou Ken appeared was really good game management from Wei Ao Song.

The Xues ended up disbanded, but not through any lack of effort on their part (particularly from JoeJoeJoeJoe , Spirederman and Rammy ), and some of the tasks did go to the wire which could have been different on another day.

I always appreciate any feedback on how the game or challenges can be improved. The team final was Lee’s idea which I implemented and liked so I can see that returning.

Thanks to those who returned for the final, everyone competed hard for the side they had been chosen for which was great.

It was also great to have people who weren’t in the game, or had been eliminated, following and commenting so thanks to the likes of Mr Elmo , Spire, Rammy, Veggie Legs, and Dave for that.

I also needed the help of an anonymous panel of judges for part of the qualifying task – thank you - you know who you are. :moustachehesk:

Anyway thanks again, and hope to see everyone back for the next season of Survivor (and the Haunted Woods!).

I surprised myself to be fair. The whole thing was just getting by and then coming good at the end. I qualified for the game late on and then really snuck through the semis after a mistake by one of the others. Saying that I was always involved as much as I could be the the Toucan team. Early on this wasn't as much as I'd have liked it to have been as I had a couple of things that were going on but definitely felt I became an integral part of the team as things went on (although everyone pulled their weight. I think people who have played games like this with me on the team will realise that I'm much more active in the PM than I am in the thread. The only thing that left a bit of a bitter taste was Don's reaction to losing in the final after being in the same team as him and having great fun at times it soured everything a little bit when he was such a sore loser.

Congrats to SUTSS on the victory, a very well deserved winner. Really enjoyed this competition thoroughly, it was my first time playing it so I am pretty happy that I managed to make it this far. I also think I was the only person not to receive a single nomination at the Tribal Council which is pretty cool. Thanks to all the Toucan boys who helped me get this far. Thanks to Steady, Spidey and Mike too for teaming with me in the final.

Thanks to LR for running it, he's done a fantastic job. Loved all of the challenges, even the insanely complicated ones.

Better look next time hopefully.
Fucking disgusting Don tbh.

Oh and this was definitely the best feature of 2015. Don't care what the awards said.
