The first tribe to get all its members over the finish line at the top of the hill will win an extra 20 bags of rice for their camp. The second tribe to get all its members over the finish line will win an extra 10 bags of rice. If the other tribes finish before you, or you don’t get all 6 members over the finish line by 6 pm tomorrow you will not be leaving this challenge with any extra rice.
The course runs from south to north. You need to move 200m north of the start to finish the course.
Each individual can post in bold their tribe colours either:
[Name] moves north 20 metres. [Name] is a total of [XX] metres north of the start.
Or you can post to assist someone else, possibly physically weaker than you, who is struggling to advance across the rough mountain terrain (in other words they are not currently online):
[Name A] moves 10 metres north with [Name B]. [Name A] is a total of [XX] metres north of the start. [Name B] is a total of [XX] metres north of the start.
You have to wait at least 5 minutes between posts (based on the forum clock). To assist someone, you cannot be more than 10m north or south of them. So if you want to backtrack on the course to assist someone, you need to post:
[Name] moves south 20 metres. [Name] is a total of [XX] metres north of the start.
There are also 3 individual immunity idols up for grabs, 1 for each tribe. The first individual member of each tribe to the finish will get one of these and will be safe from the elimination vote at their first tribal council (whenever that may occur).
However, once someone has moved 200 metres north and finished the race, they cannot assist anyone else. It’s a good prize to go for but you may look selfish if you rush straight to the finish without assisting others. If two tribe members reach the finish at exactly the same time, one of them will be selected at random to get the idol.
It is up to you to accurately keep track of where you are on the course. If I count and find a mistake, you’ll have to backtrack to where that mistake was made. This includes not waiting at least 5 minutes between movements.
The reason I’m asking you to post in bold in your tribe colours is that it makes it easier for both me and you to keep track of which tribe is posting. If on your phone, you can post “green –“ or whatever your tribe colour is, at the start of your post. In the interests of fairness you will be penalised as above for not following this.
You cannot edit your posts to change or correct distance moved. You can however edit posts to add bold/colour. If you want to cancel a move you can edit your post and add the word IGNORE at the end. You will still have to wait 5 mins before moving again though.
Once I have said ‘Go’ at 7 pm you can start moving!
