Phew. Thank God I played the idol.

At least it was put to good use after all that though.

It's a tricky one, because obviously it's no use possessing the idol after you have been eliminated!

Anyway, next challenge will go up tomorrow tonight. It's not a live one so I wouldn't worry about being online the moment it's posted.

Oh well. I can't say I felt that I deserved to get near the final stages this time around as this has conflicted horribly with my work pattern, a frankly astonishing run of nothing happening on my days off and all the action on the few days that I've not been able to be here. Had I been around more from this point on and managed to work my way into the final, I can't say that I feel like I'd have earned the win (certainly not compared to last time where I thought I did pretty well)

I contributed where I could with a couple good games (winning the tie breaker for Wei Ao in the video game thing was my own highlight, as well as the riddles one) but there were even some where I was around and couldn't really help all that much.

I'll obviously be rooting for my former Wei Ao team mates from here, Stagat in particular as he's been superb for us.

Though I'd just like to say, before I fade into the abyss...

I don't know who this was, what tribe it was from or whether it was for a vote for myself or Cardsfan, but you scumbag.

Last time around, we managed to get a nice atmosphere at the tribal merger stage where we decided as a group that we'd try and keep the very strongest players in it at the end. Voting people off because they're strong will just result in a shitter finale... lets at least try to keep it so that the final is decided by the people who deserve to be there!

Anyway. I guess this gives me more time to plan NOTW 2 now, then. Which is probably a good thing because I have a fair bit to still do on it.

Goodbye my fellow survivors, and good luck (especially Wei Ao). May the best man win.

I would like to refute some of Oaf's claims here. Us toucans do not discuss votes. It is just that we have become so immersed in the way of the toucan that we have become hardwired into the toucan hivemind. I, and I presume the others, had a vision of the Lord of all Toucans come to me at night and say: 'The one they call Oaf has a hatred of all things ornithological, he must be destroyed!'. And before I knew it I had voted against my will. I really wanted to vote for Cardsfan.

Survivor meets Sheep as Ngan Xiaowen tackle their second immunity challenge!

For those not familiar with the game Sheep, it’s a great game that Stagat brought to TFF a couple of years ago –

You answer the ten questions below with what you think will be the most popular answer. Your answer also forms part of the survey. So if for example in question 1, you and 6 others were to put the same answer, you would all score seven points for that question.

The top two point scorers over the ten questions win immunity!

But in this game of sheep there is also an element of survival! As well as submitting your 10 answers, everyone gets two ‘killing shots’. This means separately to giving your ten answers you select two contestants to aim a killing shot at, or if you wish you can fire both shots at the same contestant! For each contestant you pick, you select a question and give me the answer you predict they will give for that question. If you correctly predict what their answer ends up being that contestant is out of the running as far as winning immunity goes! In other words the two people who win immunity are the two highest sheep point scorers who don't get eliminated from the challenge via the kill shots.

If you want to you can even use both of your killing shots on the same question, and on the same contestant (in other words getting to predict two different answers for that question for the same contestant, and if either matches that contestant is out).

If it wasn’t already clear, your answer choice for a kill shot does not have to be the same as your own sheep point scoring answer for that question. Your Sheep answers and kill shots are two separate things.

Immunity - it could be ewe!

This is Survivor so feel free to discuss your answers beforehand with other contestants. However, once you have PM’d me your answers and kill shots – they are your final choices and you will not be able to edit them. So make sure you are happy that you have discussed all that you want to before sending me your answers. The deadline for sending your answers to me is midnight on Saturday. I will reveal the results at 8 pm on Sunday night.

If 8 or more people are eliminated from the challenge via the kill shots, sheep points scored still decides immunity.

Oh and one more important thing, a DOUBLE ELIMINATION will follow this challenge where two people will be voted off at Tribal Council!

Not a bad idea that. I guess if I ran this again I could do that but let contestants submit 10 answers separately for Survivor if they wanted to enter Sheep in earnest as well, but base the Survivor Sheep points scoring on the overall Sheep results rather than just the Survivor contestants as a survey and then the kill shots could come into play. Assuming Survivor and Sheep were running at the same time again of course!

When the votes are revealed, who the voter was will remain confidential (and always will remain this way). The deadline for votes is 6 pm tomorrow.
