The Twitter account of Wealdstone FC reports that after Altrincham midfielder Connor Kirby suffered a double leg fracture against their club last week, a collection by the hosts' supporters has raised a remarkable £1,400 for the injured midfielder.

Everyone at Wealdstone deserves heartfelt thanks for their generosity towards an opposing player.
