The 1 to 24 prediction competition

It might be a bit early to start this thread but with only four weeks to go to start of the league season I thought I would start it.

Last season Saddler78 won the comp. The idea is to list in order (1 to 24) the final order of teams in League Two for season 22/23. Points are awarded for how many places are different to your prediction, the poster with the lowest score wins. For instance if you predict Grimsby will win the league but finish bottom then you score 23 points, but if you predict Carlisle finish bottom and they do you score nil points.
By adding the twenty four teams points together gives you winner.

Not too sure about having us in 4th. We've still got a load of the crap from last season and we've only signed 1 player so far!! We need to bring in 5 or 6 player's for me to have any sort of optimism going into this season.

To be honest I always confuse Tranmere with Oldham for some reason, as a result I’d completely forgotten you were in this league until there was someone missing.

Sorry about that, but you’ll have to make do with 22nd I’m afraid.

Early predictions, obviously Stockport are splashing the cash (although Salford prove that’s not always guaranteed success).

Bradford under Hughes will be up there, Play offs impressed with Orient signings, I will be honest I am unsure on Swindon, after the play offs I thought they’ll be up there but they’ve hired an untested manager and lost some key men, so could go either way, probably want evolution rather than revolution on last season but doesn’t look like that’ll be the case.

Bottom two I’ve gone for Hartlepool as they seem to be dismantled but obviously a few decent signings can change that, Crewe at the moment are that side you can see really struggling, awful season points wise last season, untested manager and lost a couple of players and haven’t made any really decent signings yet. If there’s ever a season they need a couple of decent youths to come through this is it so never know!

Obviously these views may be different in four weeks with signings etc!

Being as optimistic as I can possibly be, physically couldn’t bring myself to put pools in bottom two, but honestly unless some solid signings come through the door asap I can see us dropping.

Happy with most of the predictions regarding Crawley (ninety and pub, disappointed in you).

Don't think we will reach the play offs unless we get someone to tie our midfield together and we also have an untried (but H R) manager. Too near the bottom and wagmi will get someone else in...could overreact though.

Give me a while for a think but so far I'm impressed with Bradford and Orient.
