Gold Run

The ‘Gold Run’ is similar to the original shows final round. Your job is to create a link from one side to the other, before time runs out. In this round, the letter(s) on the board represent the first letter of the word(s).

You have a time limit of 2 minutes. Each asking of a question is allocated two seconds, whilst time between the posting of the question, and the correct answer being posted will be deducted from the time limit. You have the option to pass, but you can not go back to that hexagon. Likewise, if you answer incorrectly, that hexagon is no longer available.

Obviously you tell me which hexagon you want to go for!

If you complete the link, you will win five points to add to your teams total. If time runs out before you create the link, you will win just three points.

Open the board in a new window or something, as you will find it easier having easy access to it. We can either take a break, or jump straight in. Entirely up to you guys.

My asking of a question uses up 2 seconds of your time. You can take however much time as you like to answer your question, but you only have 2 minutes in total.

So your time counts down between the time I post the question, and you post the correct or incorrect answer AND 2 seconds is also deducted every time I ask a question.
