Especially when you think of previous cases. e.g. Eastwood Town

Spot on. I'd say Coronation Park edges Nethermoor too: probably around the same seating, and an easily better capacity although a bit of a lumpy pitch if I remember it correctly. Sad what happened to Eastwood Town.

If Furby go up there will be only three relegation places next season. Since Altrincham are no longer around to finish 21st in that set-up, it might be FGR who have a stinker of a season next.

Exactly Pliny. Such a crying shame to see Eastwood in their current guise struggling in the Central Midland League South Division at the very base, when it could have been oh so different for them. Plus it was yet another of our derby games ruined.

What was the crack with Heath being a prick after the game?

Apparantly he went up to Piergianni and told him he wasn't fit to play and shouldn't have played.
Whether any affects from the battering he took by Denton on Wednesday hindered him is unknown but he certainly didn't have him pocketed like Wednesday.

Hope AFC Fylde get promoted, least they spend money on both players and a new ground unlike country yokels North Ferriby's whose ground clearly isn't up to standard. How on earth the Conference are even letting them play in play offs is a joke.

Don't think I've ever been to a ground so tightly packed in on all sides. 2,027 there yet capacity is 2,800. I'd love to know how they could get 750+ more in, we were way over capacity in the small standing part of that covered side, must have been 400-500 squeezed in there, I tried to walk round at HT, took 15 minutes. 1 tea bar, 1 set of 3 turnstiles, 1 toilet block for 2,000 fans, I peered into the clubhouse and couldn't see the bar for people... very poor. No stewards until after it had kicked off (then we got the full works). A great exercise in how not to control a big game..... I think they seemed to think if they can cope with 2000+ for the Hull friendlies, they'll be OK but totally different atmosphere and enough idiots form both sides to cause trouble.

Speaking of Gainsborough I see they've released Craig Reid :fl:

Surely it has to be Sunday League next for that fat overpaid oxygen thieving waster of a 'footballer'?

Or maybe Bolton, coz that's where Holdsworth is now.

Listening to the Ferriby Vs fylde game via BBC, the BBc Lancashire commentary is abit different, their commentators seem to be standing in the away end doing their peice had commentator singing, been kissed and apologising for choice words.

Fylde just gone 1 up

How? Money went in, they went up the leagues. Money taken out they went down. No mystery and not worth your sympathy. :£:£:£

Aren't Fylde and Ebbsfleet both bank-rolled? No idea about NF now that the Hull chairmanship daughter isn't pumping the money in and also don't know about Maidstone.

Fylde are bankrolled, i think they are moving into a 6,000 new stadium next season and ploughing lots of money into the whole team and set-up.

ferriby are also bankrolled, but its through the Assam lot so i suppose that could go belly up anytime.

am shocked Ferriby is allowed at conf Nat level with their ground, its no where near looks able to host games

Maidstone get their money from having huge crowds. No artificial bankrolling there.

Wrexham vs NFU would be the biggest extremes in football you're likely to see at any level.

I just looked up their ground, I'm sure my school had better facilities. Should be an interesting away day, anyway!

Think of the most long ball team you've ever come up against and multiply by, well, a lot! Very good at what they do and it's very effective but it's basically based around intimidation.
