think Mansfield typically keep kits for two seasons so the away is retained

Fraser Franks commemorative third shirt after he was forced to retire for medical reasons. Not sure if they're updating the other kits or not.

Port Vale
no news yet, just an overly long and very tinpot 'trailer'

Salford
nobody cares

Scunthorpe
Had a vote some time ago, no news on when the new kit will be delivered. Boris Johnson rumored to be involved in negotiations.

Stevenage

Broke my rule on image size for this one because it really does have to be seen to be believed.

Swindon

Walsall

There we go, that's everyone so far, what are people's opinions for best and worst kits, a few really middle of the road ones in there (the home shirts from ourselves, Crewe, Oldham and Plymouth, Northampton's away) but some fierce competition at either end of the table.

Thanks for posting those, good to get a visual taster of all the sides in league 2.

My favourite is Cambridge United away. Mentions also for Cambridge home and away

My least favourite, only one winner really. Stevenage home. (I don't mind the away so much). Mentions also for Crewe away, Plymouth away as well as Orient home and away.

Cambridge away and Newport are my favourites from all above...which will be eclipsed by ours when it is released tomorrow, as long as Hummel aren't involved.

Orient's I think isn't too bad in blue. Just something ugly about it when it red. In general, I think red isn't easy to get right.

I've never been a fan of kits like Swindon home that have some kind of weird pattern / shimmery effect employing varying shades of the same colour, so Crewe away and both Morecambe kits also belongs in the bin, Plymouth away similar for reasons that include but are very much not limited to that weird colouration. Looks to be something weird pattern-wise on Mansfield's chevron too.

Swindon away, is the worst kind of grey kit, a light-mid grey kit that then tries to add a splash of colour that just looks vomit-inducing. You can just about get away with charcoal grey with a splash of colour, if you're going light grey then don't bother.

A few clubs pushing the boat out. Stevenage can at least be congratulated for that but massive points taken off for the clear relationship between the design of that away kit and the sponsor.

Cambridge away, I quite like, the colours go well together. It looks retro, which makes sense, because it is. Sad for Cambridge fans to have so soon in the season already made their biggest contribution to it.

Our kits are set to be unveiled on the 16th but we all already know what the tops look like anyway.

Top: almost certainly Bradford City home. Plymouth home pretty decent too. Carlisle home does the job.

Stevenage away then their home the worst of the bunch by a long way. Walsall kits dull rather than actively repulsive, but also near the bottom of my hypothetical list.

Not convinced by the Cambridge away kit myself. A bit too fussy.

I think on the whole that the home shirts are better than the away ones. There are quite a few I like - Bradford, Cambridge, Crewe, Exeter (I especially like their away shirt), Crewe, Mansfield. There is only one winner so far for the worst, though honourable mentions to our away and the orient red chevron. When I showed my wife she said “Bloody hell! What is that?” It is her birthday next week and I was thinking of buying her an Argyle home from the boys. But I am sorely tempted with the Stevenage away. Am I brave enough?

I'll just say I don't mind the away one and leave it there.

Would you wear the home one out? I don't think I'd be brave enough lol.

Should at least have gone with the two tone green pattern front and back with black sleeves, would have improved it a bit imo.

Like the home kit but wish they had gone full zebra for the away with black and white instead of black and grey.

Seen worse. Kinda like the FGR home one. something different but not as cheesy as the Stevenage one.

No mate can't imagine what you'd even wear it with. Might look okay with black jeans. Sort of top you'd love to put on when on holiday abroad though.

Several clubs have a version of a grey kit this year, I think FGRs is the best of those, i think it is quite stylish.

Yeah, as the kind Vale fans have said, not half as bad as I was expecting and I never get a replica shirt anyway.
I haven't bought a footy shirt for a few years now, but might have gone for the new home shirt...if I didn't consider the behavior of Sea Shepherd, who appear on it as a sponsor, totally unethical.

I've never heard of them - how are they unethical?
Perhaps I should have said illegal, have a read of this to find out about their somewhat chequered history:

https://www.icrwhale.org/eng/history.pdf

Personally I am really uncomfortable with them being associated in any way with our club, protest is one thing but shooting at Police officers is something completely different (1986 in the Faeroe Islands).
