You manager seemed to think it was very harsh etc but guess he would !

This is the same nugget that thinks Sam Finley didn’t stamp on Lyle Taylor’s head despite a video of Sam Finley clearly stamping on Lyle Taylor’s head going viral for the whole world to see.

Wimbledon have been excellent tonight. Defended well and put West Ham’s defence under tons of pressure. Been a pleasure to watch and makes you wonder how on earth they’re so far adrift at the bottom of League 1!

Probably because they don’t play like that against League 1 teams.

Obviously. Appreciate it hard to judge a side on one game but on this performance it’s hard to see how they’ve only won 6 out of 29.

And there we go. Back to 3-1. Comeback on?

Everything about Tuesday's defeat that was wrong, was put right tonight. Incredible difference. Now to go and win at Sunderland.

Is there any chance though that this result will spur Wimbledon on and help them find some quality and form that has eluded them all season, or was it more one of those freak results that is part of the magic of the FA Cup?

TBH I don't know why they bother asking managers about decisions 2 minutes after a game - they aren't going to be calm/unbiased and rational.

Just had a look at the Doncaster v Oldham post match comments which Donny won with a late penalty and surprise surprise Grant McCann says it was a clear handball whilst the Oldham chap doesn't..

Coleman said this after the video had gone viral and Finley had already been given his ban!

Properly even game at Fratton Park yesterday, two different styles of football and QPR obviously possessed higher quality players than us, but we held our own and fully deserved the draw, maybe even the win. It’s a good boost before Tuesday, that’s for sure, and the replay will be a fun one to go to with no pressure to get a result. Cracking to have a full ground and away end too, there was a nice buzz before KO!

Disappointed not to hold out against Wolves but I would have taken a replay at 3pm. The only downside is that due to the nonsensical booking rule introduced by those that know at the FA we will now have our captain suspended for picking up 2 yellows in the competition, the third time this has happened to one of our players in the competition this season. Should be wiped at round 3 imo.

We’ve been affected by that as well as one of our players picked up a yellow in the 4th round qualifying and then another in the 3rd. This rule favours the bigger clubs who enter the cup in the 3rd round.

Didn't know about that rule change. How obvious do they want to make it that they only care about the bigger teams! Would have been the easiest thing in the world for them to add an amnesty after the 2nd round (and probably after the 3rd Qualifying Round) so everyone is on a level playing field.

We had the same with Jamal Lowe being suspended for yesterday. Totally biased rule.

I hope Dave Edwards makes it for the replay, would love to see the whole of Molineux give him a standing ovation.

I thought the same, it was a pretty close game without many clear chances. Not sure what happened with the argybargy going on, seemed a whole lot of nothing.

You'll have Lowe back next game, we'll have Luongo back which is massive for us.

On a side note, why doesn't your away end sell beer?! WTF is that about . And, went to Tesco for beers after the game for the train home and they asked 'have you been to the football' and we said yeah it was a good dya out and then they couldnt serve us! So we walked around, went to another til and when they asked we just said no. What an odd rule.

On a different note, I thought your home support was superb, you we very vocal throughout.

Form hasn't eluded us all season. We were decent in the first few league matches and seemed to have revived when Downes came in, before possibly the worst performance we've put in in years against Fleetwood on Tuesday. Yet 4 days later we outplay a Premier League side so maybe Fleetwood was the aberration in recent performances rather than Saturday. I still think there's probably far too much to do being 8 points from safety at this stage but when the tactics and attitude are spot on we can make a mockery of the league position so you never know.

That is nuts. Had no idea about either rule, although the in-ground issue might be more the fact that our facilities are so out of date that they physically aren't able to sell beer in certain parts of the ground?

I bet the Tesco thing is primarily to force our fans to buy from the bars in the ground, under the guise of "safety reasons".

This was after the game though, which makes it weirder. You would think they either stop selling at the time or have no rule at all. If you ever need to go there after a game, at least you know to say no if you have been to the game.

That Tesco is fairly new, and built in consultation with the club, police etc. So I reckon this is just a blanket "matchday" rule that was forced on them. All a bit pointless as it's easy to get round the ban, as you found out!

This will all be a memory once our brand new stadium is built (43 years and counting)

I'd imagine that you can't buy beer at the away end at Fratton Park because the tea bar is in within view of the pitch and thus selling alcohol there would be breaching the 1985 Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol) Act.

Wicked draw. Nearly every lower team is at home and Chelsea or Utd going out.

Great chance for Pompey & Wimbledon to make the 1/4 finals

Palarse at home, not the glamour tie we wanted but it’s at home and is a chance for an upset

Could have been Swansea away though so could have been worse. I don’t think it’s a bad draw, it’ll almost certainly be on tv and, as you say, it’s winnable.

Funny that I should be reading an interesting exchange between Portsmouth and QPR fans, and having not seen the FA Cup draw until now, only to find that we will be playing either team! Could be a cracking tie whoever gets through - I don't QPR are clear-cut favourites, as Pompey could do quite well next season in the Championship assuming they go up even with their current squad.

A lot of people hate Fratton Park, but while the area it's situated in is no great shakes, I find it quirky with character, and makes for a great away trip with the sights of the Historic Dockyard and Spinnaker Tower, especially when the weather's fine.
