Even if Mansfield lose to us when they come to our gaff, they will still have a game in hand and a GD that's worth a point. And of course that's presuming we win our last games which certainly isn't a given.

I like Williamson but his decisions on forcing out Craig MacGillivray, a perfectly adequate leage two goalkeeper, and bringing in the absolutly useless Filip Marschall from his Gateshead days have cost us this promotion spot.

I like Tom Nichols. Ok player. He got a decent pay rise when you nicked him from us. To then double it to go to Mansfield (if true) is great for him.

I can see on the Mansfield forum they don’t really understand what he brings to the team. Strange because he was my favourite player for us, took me a while to get over it but it was like seeing your ex with 2 blokes at the same time when him and Nads played against us for Gills.
Their performance yesterday I didn’t think he did that badly when he came on

I'm not Clough's biggest fan after this season but I think he may see them over the line looking at the remaining fixtures.

Gillingham fans coming back from a hiatus after spending a FORTUNE and a disaster of a season is exactly what keeps me on this forum.

I’ll exclude joethegill to be fair, kept us informed at the comings and going down at Kent sporadically at least, it’s appreciated.

Said it a few times but Crawley was definitely a bottle job performance, had plenty of chances (literal open nets missed) suicidal defending after being the best defence all season.

I suppose we will all know for sure if we fail to win tomorrow, if we don’t beat FGR I’ll probably concede the Mansfield Bottlejob is well and truly on. I find it very difficult to imagine MK not beating us comfortably, especially without Brunt and Cargill.

Not the end of the world, it's only football! I'm looking forward to a break from it all at this point to be honest. Start of July I'll be back being over-positive I'm sure, but we have had an absolute catwank of a season.
