Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Mmmmmmmm... A round of Camembert wrapped in foil and baked for half an hour. Crusty bread. Butter.

Anything better?

Gotta say we're spanked by our continental cuzzies in the cheese stakes.

Bought a slice of Snowdonia black bomber, Cornish yarg, and hand-somethingorothered stilton today for Pater's Day. Will report back if he lets me cut a bit off.

I grate a generous helping on almost anything. From Sunday roasts, to Pork pies.

Had a lovely little cheese board at home last night.

Crackers, butter, Brie, Wensleydale and Cheddar. Little bit of cured ham on the side and a packet of bacon mini cheddars.

Was an absolute beast of a meal.

Extra mature cheddar with onion and pickle in a sandwich made with a crusty loaf not shit sliced bread that feels like you're eating rubber. Stinking Bishop is nice on Ritz crackers as is somerset brie.

Big fan of cheese. If it wasn't so creamy I would eat only that all day every day till the end of time. Cheese is so good with a baguette that red wine actually tastes good with it.
Camenbert is fantastic but the tops is Roquefort which is very smelly but damn so good!

An advantage of coming from Stoke-on-Trent is cheese oatcakes. The rest of the country doesn't know what it's missing.
As for types of cheese I prefer the milder types such as Edam, Gouda, Havarti and Monterey Jack.

That's exactly what I would expect Hugo Lloris to say.

It takes 25 litres of fresh donkey milk to make a single kilogram of "Pule" cheese. The white, crumbly cheese has been described as similar to Spanish Manchego cheese, but with a deeper, richer taste.

Yeah, stick a bit of garlic and Rosemary in it and it becomes heaven.

Had a cheese new to me the other day, Lincolnshire Poacher. A nice mature hard cheese, fucking gorgeous it was.

Snowdonia do a lot of great cheese, my favourite one is the Green Thunder.

For my mum's birthday, I bought her a platter of cheeses, mostly contained different types of Snowdonia. One had horseradish in it, it was very tasty. It also had a local cheese called Just Jane, it's by far the best cheddar I've ever tasted.

For any blue cheese lovers, try Beauvale. It's stunning.

Also, Stinking Bishop is quite tasty, it doesn't taste like it smells.

Cheese.

Goats cheese and sheeps cheese can go fuck themselves (with two of their own fists) awful terrible stuff. Brie deserves a similar fate.

Good cheeses are made with cows milk, and are NEVER mild. That's just the way it is.

I like goats cheese, it's great on a crusty roll with roasted vegetables.

Also, penne pasta, chicken, red pesto, spinach and goats cheese. Amarzing.

Brie is also nice, I prefer Somerset Brie to Brie De Meaux I think though. Bacon, brie and cranberry sandwiches... yes.

Goats cheese is clearly awesome.

Brie however is shite. Either you eat the awful skin or waste your time and half your cheese with it trying to get it off.

Yeah, there was another one in the deli with a name like Green Thunder containing garlic and chives, but I went for the basic one first because you don't want to go too overboard do you? Wouldn't like to present these things to my dad and have him send me to the nuthouse.

With goat's cheese I haven't gone far, but the sliceable stuff is decent, the stuff with a tough white outer skin is unspeakable, but the typical crumbly stuff that you get in pastries and so on is a delight.

All you brie naysayers are probably eating the French stuff. That stuff tastes bad because they go out of their way to cram as much suffering into every mouthful, eg. by including rennet in it. Go for the Cornish stuff instead, which tastes nicer as it's merely made with deeply-held resentment.

Love cheese, but I'm not particularly keen on melted cheese on pasta or anything. Pizza, acceptable. Pasta, not.

Cheese and biscuits with grapes and a glass, or three, of a good Port. :cool1:

Goats cheese crumbled on top of a nice mushroom risotto is a simple but tasty meal. Wash it down with an ice cold Frascati and you are getting close to heaven.
