off topic but i reckon Villa would snap the hand off the buyer for £25m for Benteke. You'll get far less in a years time when he only has a year left on his contract if he doesn't sign another one.

Not disagreeing with you there, but how much money do people think a contract drops by when there's only one year left?

For me if we lose out on £10/15m for one more year of Benteke playing for us, is worth it.

You mean how much does his market value drop? Shit loads if he has no intention of extending it. And it'd be in his, and any interested clubs, interests not to extend it if it gets to that point.

Definitely, also apparently Man United, Liverpool and Roma are lining up £30million bids for him, if we were to accept that, I really hope he goes to Roma, would rather not play against him, he's one of my favourite players. Still kills me when I see Milner playing against us, my favourite player in a Villa shirt ever. (I'm only 22, so saw none of Withe, God, etc)
