Hazard's kind of detached in the game and when he "appeared" he just missed a great goal chance.

And nice defense from Cech on Oscar's free kick.

What a master plan that was from Ivanovic.

Cazorla could've defined the match. It was probably the best goal chance of the game until now right on his feet.

And nice move of Courtois to avoid Gibbs kick.

Arsene "Brock Lesnar" Wenger broke the streak.

At least Arsenal could break the taboo.

Not hugely important, but beating Mourinho is worth something.

Both teams have works to do on their defence to win the league.

Wenger straight down the tunnel. I don't think I'd have been able to contain myself if I were him, straight in Jose's face with the

We were just too good for them, all over the park and tactically. I think Wenger finally has Mourinho sussed out.

Nice little bit of silverware to start the season too.

What a great day.

It took a great goal to seperate 2 teams who both looked like they hadn't played competitive football for 3 months.

Enjoyable day.

Arsenal are undisputed pre-season champions of the world!

Pfft. Cech would have saved it.

Best two defences in the league. :dk:

This. Both teams had sloppy passing. I expect the league matches between the sides to be separated by a goal in similar fashion.

Why do people say 'glorified' friendly in relation to this fixture?

It IS a friendly, you can make more than 3 subs, it's not a competitive game.

Also, Falcao was rubbish again. Despite Michael Owen gargling his balls all through the match.

It was embarrassing watching your fans cheer every catch and kick however simple they were. It's as if you think it gets under our skin. We love the bloke.

Your fans seem obsessed. We just love our players. Nothing more to it. It was great to see Cech prove he's better than Courtois by going head to head though don't you think?
