I think the sense of responsibility plays a part in this, being Captain he's out to set the example, and get the team going. (not that he's been doing it lately)He's just not Eoin Morgan anymore. Where's the variation in his game, moving the field with the sweeps and reverse sweeps and flicking it past fine leg? He just seems to want to only hit anything with width that he can aim a mistimed swat at through the offside.
I disagree with it although, Morgan should have the freedom to go out there and bring out all the shots in the book as he did in the past, it was certainly more effective.
