Bit early but we'll lose regardless with this twat in charge. Bring on Gillingham.

Team

Garratt
The woeful Turton-Ray-Nugent-Guthrie (due to Kingsley's absence)
Cooper-Fox-King (of crap performances)-Inman
Colclough
Dalla Valle (due to Haber's absence)

We won't even threaten the goal and Davis will say we showed immense character, that his critics are deluded and that he won't resign.

I can't believe what he's saying in that article. I think the vast majority want him out, not the minority.

Apparently some of us are not real fans and we don't understand? We understand you don't have a clue what you're doing.

I'm not at all confident about Saturday. We seem to have a knack of gifting struggling teams points (especially at Oakwell) and with one up front again we'll not create/score enough to make it comfortable viewing from a Barnsley perspective. Wouldn't be surprised at all if we lost, although I think our forum would go into meltdown if we did.

We are down to the bare bones to be honest, we're struggling to name a team. Kingsley, Haber, Wilson and Saunders away with their international teams. Ray out with what sounds like a broken cheek bone. Baillie was only in the team tonight because of numbers, to paraphrase SD: "he's been having a mare for the U21s of late" and he went missing for Wigan's 2nd goal. Davis, Jones and Bingham all still injured. No backup strikers if we start with the 4 fit ones we've got, no backup defenders, only 1/2 options in midfield.

Team will be: Garratt, Baillie, Nugent, Guthrie, Turton, King, Fox, Cooper/Atkinson, Colclough, Inman, Dalla Valle

Subs bench will be hilarious though. Nizic, Atkinson/Cooper, Wintle, Ainley....... Erm, yeah. That's all we've got. Unless the likes of Ng or Murdoch are fit, we'll be struggling to name a full squad for this one.

I'd like to see how we look in this one. Away from home where it's fine for us to not have the ball and for us to not have territory, we might be able to grind out a result. All depends on whether Barnsley miss the 5-6 great chances we present them. I severely doubt it though.

Going for a 3-1 defeat here.

So what is deluded Davis' idea of a real fan? Someone who hasn't worked out that he's a complete fuckwit who blames literally every single thing that is possible to name instead?

Get out of my football club Steve, seriously just fuck off.

Like Barnsley as an away day but cannot justify going and with so many players missing I can only see one outcome.

It's time the board grew some and sack the deluded one and bring in someone who will get the best out of a half decent squad.

Ahh so instead of bigging up James Baillie before he plays Saturday, Davis decides to slate him instead. Abysmal management from the dull one yet again.

I genuinely thought Davis would be gone by this dinner time. I don't know what got into me.

Most of the real fans get it? GET FUCKED, Davis. It's not like you spend a significant amount of your disposable income following this team home and away just to see inept management and to be criticised by you. We were here before you arrived, and we'll be here long after you've fucked off to some middling or bottom of the National League side, where you belong.

This deluded fuckwit thinks a League Two playoff final and a JPT has made him untouchable and bigger than our football club. Applying for the Burnley, Wolverhampton and Doncaster jobs for "the experience" just a year-18 months in the job as well which was a shithouse move. Well ever since he applied for that Wolves job and missed out we've gone down the shitter. The man is a fraud and he's lost all motivation because he knows he missed out on his chance to further his career so he's clinging to us like a limpet. Add to the fact we have a tight fisted board who really don't want to pay him off at all and we're stuck at stalemate. We owe Davis no loyalty anymore as he's continually failed for two years and had far too many chances, so he needs his employment terminated. But the board won't do that and it is we, the real fans who put their hard-earned money into the club, who suffer. The real fans according to Davis are one's who accept his bullshit in a drip-fed manner, having a different opinion to that fraud means you're not a real fan in his eyes. Since when was Crewe Alexandra Football Club akin to the Soviet Union?

Our current crop of Academy players obviously have talent and they're being mismanaged but mentally speaking this is the worst batch I've ever seen in 15 years of following us. And even worse, they're kids, not people with responsibility who apologise and applaud the fans, they just go off and sulk with their manager wondering why they've lost a game and hold the fans in utter contempt whilst they sip on their Macchiato's at Costa and dig in to their dry overcooked Nando's chicken whilst instagramming themselves in generic Brooklyn Nets snapbacks and dodgy clobber. Fuck the majority of the spineless twats, they're shameful. And as for poor James Baillie, I feel sorry for him, if I was him I'd give Davis a right hook after that assassination of character by Davis. Poor lad has never had a chance.

The club is dying, John Bowler, Norman Hassall, Steve Davis, Dario Gradi, Charles Grant, Neil Baker, James Collins, Graham McGarry etc have to elaborate to us just what the fuck is happening to our football club? But all we get is spin and character assassinations of good players highly regarded by the fans or are up and coming from Davis, Collins and Baker, we only get a peep out of Bowler if we've got a player we need to sell and McGarry will tell us generic bullshit that we're different to other football clubs and fans have to understand that. All football clubs should want to win football matches, not 91 of them wanting to win games and 1 being the biggest fucking cash cow in the whole of the four leagues. Because that's what it feels like at the moment. And the way we're playing we're never going to sell a player for big money ever again under the incompetent Davis.

Be interesting to see where we are in 12 months time, the season is a write off and I've accepted our fate. I just know we'll be staring down the National League barrel this time next year, we're possibly the most complacent professional football club in England and we'll be duly punished for it.

We're in a worse state than Blackpool. They at least can attribute their problems to one group, the Oyston's. That allows the team to unite behind the manager and allows the fans to fully back the players/management.

With us, we have problems from top to bottom. We have some players who are possibly good enough, some who maybe aren't but are trying their best and some who clearly can't be arsed. Doesn't make for a great combination. It's clear some of them don't like the manager and are playing for themselves. And when you mix that in with this manager, who is criticising the fans for daring to blame him and it doesn't make for a great combination. Then we have the media cronies who won't dare question anything the club do. The board meanwhile are full of pensioners who are losing touch with reality. They can't seem to see what is falling apart right in front of them. They like some of the fans seem to think keeping Davis is right just because he has no budget. Ignoring the fact the academy lads in the team aren't learning or developing, which means we won't sell them. Which means, they'll be no money to balance the books. Which means a smaller and smaller budget, which means a worse team. Which means fewer fans actually bother to turn up, because even Alex fans don't want to see their team lose in pathetic fashion every week, regardless of how many passes we make or how many academy players we use.

The club's dying. And the only ones who can see it aren't even real fans. Firing Davis doesn't come close to fixing the teams problems, but this group of players desperately needs a fresh face leading them. Were this 12 months ago, I wouldn't want Collins, but at the moment, I'd take anyone other than Davis. Nobody could do a better job than the messiah. Well lets find out, then those who support Davis can be proved right.

I agree with 99% of what you say JJ. Which is good, cus it saves me from going on rants.

Ps. I would like to take this opportunity to state how much I despise Peter Morse.

Wish our media were like the Sentinel pair of Baggaley and Tideswell who got Bill Bratt and his cronies kicked out of Vale Park after they realised the Vale were being asset stripped, it turned the fans against them to the point where the Vale went into admin and were taken over.

No one even knows the full extent of Hassall's leeching of the club, and no one has dared questioned the club to comment on their finances. Accounts are rarely publicly declared, the board are never transparent with us, yet Morse, McGarry and co prefer the comfort of the gravy train rather than being loyal to their profession and the clubs fans and questioning just what is going on at this club? If it means they'll be banned from the club, isn't that a good thing? Because they'd be free to voice dissent against the club which would turn the fans against them and would send shockwaves throughout the board and management and could even affect certain board members businesses if the leeching comes into the public domain.

Sadly this is all wishful thinking. The gravy train will continue until the banks derail us when our debts become unsustainable.

You guys, you just don't understand this club. If only you knew half of it. I could tell you but unfortunately it's too much for your puny brains to take in.

McGarry and Morse are a an embarrassment to the world of journalism (not that I'd call McGarry a journalist, or indeed a competent broadcaster). Rich Sharpe is slightly better in that he actually questions Davis. Still a bit of a wet lettuce of a journalist.

If only they all paid £300 a season and then £20 per away game plus travel costs to watch us, then I'm sure they'd question whether this team serves up value for money.

Some interesting comments from some very disgruntled fans, but what I want to know is this, what are the disgruntled fans going to do about this situation,
· are there going to be some demonstrations or something in or near the ground?
· are the fans going to make it uncomfortable for the directors to take their seats in the main stand?
· will Davis get 90 minutes of dog’s abuse from the crowd proving he is wrong about having the backing of the majority of the support?
· will callers to radio joke give it to McGarry tight, lay into him as much as the club and ask for answers, not spin?
though I tend to think the following will happen,
· the usual 3-4k will turn up.
· there will be booing at the end of 90 minutes after another defeat
· the same few dullards will ring radio joke and claim they know Dario and spout shite.
· posters on sites like this will make impassioned posts regarding what they see as the clubs current situation, but will do nothing about it other than maybe stop going matches or boo a bit more, and make more impassioned posts on sites like this.

Wow, some spectacular rants there. Our beloved chairman has copped some abuse in his time, but this goes way over that.

Pretty much word for word what I posted on Mad. I fucking hate McGarry, ever since he had a dig at me for politely asking he not spoil Champion's League scores whilst commentating on Crewe fixtures on Radio Stoke. The guy is senile, a terrible commentator, and is too far into the club to actually remain impartial and to give us the level of professionalism he should do. He's too afraid of losing his tight connection to the club and won't tell it like it is or rock the boat. He's a prize c***.

He works for Radio Stoke where they call their own callers clowns. He is though, regardless of his condescending bullshit 'reporting' on Crewe, absolutely useless as a commentator. His pre-match drivel is rarely ever coherent.

And it may seem harsh to some that the 'journalists' are getting as much flack as Davis but it all stems from the spoon-fed rubbish we've had for over a decade now. I could actually respect it under Dario, he made no bones about it that he thought/thinks some fans are spoilt brats who expect far too much from the club - but then that was when we were fairly steady in the Championship, which was his doing. We now don't even get Dario's honest opinion. We get nothing official from the club except "only real fans will understand" what's going on. The only ones who can challenge that are the likes of McGarry, Morse and Sharpe but they choose not to, instead they back the club up with "it's a complicated club", "we can't begin to understand the workings of it". Or, as Morse said on Tuesday, "why should the club say anything when it will only cause outrage".

The fact of the matter is they are essentially in cahoots with the club because we are not any different to any other football club, no matter the delusions of some. Those "complications" are the reason we are shit and spiralling out of control, to turn it round and try and use it as a defence for what's going on is insulting our intelligence. That's why there is so much ill feeling towards everyone at the club

I admire Steve's determination and resolve and feel sorry it's come to this. I wish he could turn it around, he ticks the Crewe boxes, is a good bloke and fits in well.

But there's no way he can change our fortunes, 2 arguably 3 seasons of rubbish, he's had plenty of time to prove he can take us forward. Looking at the fixture list I can't see where the next 3 points is coming from, he won't be here by the start of next year.

Shame about Davis (and by the sounds of it his son), decent laiker for Barnsley.
