Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Does Alan Green ever stop moaning? He was off on one about the game tonight being lacklustre and not having the intensity and excitement of the games Scotland and Northern Ireland etc.

Yeah, Hodgson. You can fuck RIGHT off with your 100% record, +25 goal difference and only conceding in two matches. 1994 and 2008 were better.

On another note, why is Casillas still starting for Spain?

I don't understand it either, he has been past it for years now and they have one of the top three keepers in the world sitting on the bench, dunno what del Bosque is thinking.

I lost count of the amount of times Milner played the ball straight to an opponents feet, fuck knows why he gets picked for England! Whenwe get a new manager his England days will be over and rightly so.

He does moaning for a living..

Hates anything that isn't Liverpool.

He'll probably remember he's Northern Irish during the Euros and then start slagging off all aspects of the set-up despite not having a clue.

Replace Liverpool with City and you've pretty much just described Silky. Though Silks does it for the love of the game and not for money. Maybe that's why he can't stand Green, too alike and all that...

Wales through despite losing 2-0 in Bosnia. Not quite the ideal way to do it, but they've done it all the same, well done to them.

I doubt they'll care about the result, in fact this will go down as the best defeat in their history! Really glad they've made it.

If Turkey beat Iceland at home on Tuesday, Holland will be out.

Even if they draw, innit? Isn't the first decider head-to-head? Turkey won 3-0 at home and drew 1-1 away.

LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

That game was something else. Unbelievable night for Ireland, once again we go went against the odds. Shane Long is criminally underrated. Have always said he needs a run of games. Really looking forward to the game in Warsaw tonight. Another big night for us.

If Ireland can draw more than 1-1 or they win against Poland, they're through!

Bit of a round-up before the last set of games.

Group A
Big win for Turkey in Prague. A draw would mean play-offs for them and Holland out. Iceland and the Czech Republic were already through.

Group B
Bosnia recorded their 4th win in 5 games against Wales and have come back to 3rd after a terrible start (2 points from 4 games). With Israel losing at home to Cyprus (terrible result), Bosnia are back in 3rd place. A win in Cyprus (who could finish 3rd if they win and Israel don't) would ensure play-offs for them.
Belgium and Wales are through.

Group C
Surprising defeat by Slovakia at home to Belarus. They are still 2nd thanks to their H2H record against the Ukraine (same amount of points) and should qualify as their last game is in Luxembourg.
Spain have qualified.

Group D
Still a very open group with Germany a point ahead of Poland and Ireland who will play each other in Warsaw. Germany are pretty much there as all they need to do is not lose at home to Georgia.

Group E
England and Switzerland through, Slovenia in the play-offs.

Group F
Northern Ireland have qualified for the finals thanks to a 3-1 win over Greece who will in all likelihood go the whole campaign without winning. Another great feat: the Faroes will not finish bottom of the group which is tremendous for a country their size.
For second spot, Romania keep drawing (their 4th in a row) but they still have destiny in their own hands as a win at the Faroes will win ensure the runners-up place.
In case they fail, Hungary will be ready to pounce as they face the beleaguered Greeks in Athens.

Group G
The top 3 defeated the bottom 3 in this gorup. Austria made it 8 wins from 9 while Russia remain 2nd in front of the Swedes. Avoid defeat against Montenegro and the Russians are there.

Group H
Italy are almost there. All they need to do is avoid defeat against Norway. Croatia could still finish in front of them as the H2H is blocked at 2-2 and the Croats have a better GD.
Italy host Norway while Croatia travel to Malta.

Group I
Portugal have qualified having beaten Denmark 1-0. The Danes could drop to the play-offs if Albania win in Armenia. Would be great to have Albania in France.

Qualified nations (11): France, Iceland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Wales, Spain, England, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Austria, Portugal.

At this moment in time, Croatia are the best 3rd team of the tournament and will qualify directly for the finals.

Well, Ireland beat Yeorgia by a goal and Yermany by a goal so Yeorgia can easily beat Yermany.

Serbia Portugal looks like it kicked off a bit. Portugal go 2-1 up and Serbia get two red cards immediately after.

Took Germany a fair while, but they finally break Georgia down and take the lead.

Over to you Ireland.

Edit, Germany just conceded an equaliser!

So it's the playoffs for Ireland again, let's hope they get a bit of luck this time.

Germany edging out Georgia in the end..

Ireland just didn't create enough, every time they got in a decent position they gave the ball away (usually Brady). Keane did nothing when he came on, Long had much more impact. Also don't know why Hoolahan didn't start, looked by the far the most likely to make something happen.

Harsh on him, he's been nothing short of fantastic this season and rightly is starting for Ireland. He was momentous on Thursday against Germany and he did alright tonight too, certainly better than O'Shae. Played a big part in getting Ireland to where they are in this group.

Unlucky anyway, play offs it is for them.

We were poor tonight. Hoolahan should have started. Not sure why he didn't start the game, as he's possibly our best footballer going forward. I'd have taken the play offs after the Scotland game so can't complain too much. Hopefully we get a favourable draw.

Nope, the point they had deducted means they can only qualify directly by finishing second. Hungary are top of the third place table.

He's right. The Estonia game didn't have the excitement that the N. Ireland and Scotland games did. Probably because we had already qualified and didn't need to risk anything

Green is an arrogant buffoon.

Current picture for Euro 2016 playoffs:

Qual: Hungary

Seeded: Ukraine, Croatia, Bosnia, Sweden
Unseeded: Denmark, Ireland, Turkey, Slovenia

Ukraine get the top 3rd place if they beat Spain.

Ireland would fancy themselves against all those sides potentially but guess Croatia and Sweden would be the ones to avoid.

Croatia would be OK. If we can injure Ibra, Sweden will be fine too.

Russia looking good now - a decent turn around since sacking Capello.

Makes you wonder what they could have done if they'd got rid earlier.
