James McClean, a whole debate on another day, but if you listen to him on why he doesn't, then it makes sense.

Seen a video showing him riling a Mansfield fan when JM went towards the tunnel, the fan then tried to jump over an open gate

I didn't hear anyone disrespecting the silence on the TV, but if so that's pretty scummy. Particularly as Wrexham is a barracks town. Morons.

McClean has been on record about his opinions towards Remembrance day and they are pretty reasonable imo.

Pretending he's going to do anything at all about it you mean. McClean has had this all his career, water off a duck's back to him.

Mullin's laugh

Cheltenham really are poor. To lose 5 1 at plough lane where our form is poor. Anyway hopefully this kicks on our league form

Is McClean the least popular footballer in the whole of English football at any level?

Yes and it's richly deserved. He's absolutely entitled to his political opinions and I have no problems with him or anyone else for that matter declining to wear the poppy as it's their choice, but he lets himself down massively with his conduct and constant seeking of victim status to the point of embarrassment.

Trivialising the IRA as a joke with his kids on Instagram when many people died across the UK as a result of their actions is completely unacceptable but he thought that was fine? All forgotten about though when he's crying to media saying he doesn't know why he gets the abuse he gets.

Horrible bloke.

Re Mclean whereas it’s a difference stance to mine, we live in a democratic country and he’s got his rights to stand separately/not wear the poppy. If you’re of an irish decent it’s perfectly understandable as why they wouldn’t given the UK have been fucking ireland over for about 800 years!

Also it’s hardly like he does anything ridiculous in the minute either, so for me all good crack on.

Cannot put it any better myself, he was gesturing last night too. If he just shut up and left everyone else to do the remembrance it not be a issue.

Each to their own like, if Wrexham fans wanna stick up for him purely because he plays for them then it’s disappointing but that’s football unfortunately.

There’s nowt funny about the IRA, unless you are a piece of shit like James McClean.

Police had to make arrest for public order during the silence from the Wrexham end, your club should probably be finding out who and banning them.

Thankfully 99% of Wrexham fans didn’t even make a noise to tell the **** to shut up and observed it how it should be. Didn’t see what McLean was doing during but it’s not surprise, he’ll never change.

The 2 fans chasing him down the stand at the end then trying to climb over an unlocked gate are a special breed aswell. How can people not just ignore the c***?

Onto the game, really good game. Think the difference was Wrexham took their chances, we seemed to have loads of couldn’t take one other than a good goal scored by Oates. Mullin was class, he’s got the quality but his work rate is frightening.

Think for us, it’s 2 defeats in a row so hopefully we can bounce back in the league next week but now there’s no distractions and we can concentrate on finally trying to get promoted.

I think Mansfield biggest issue this season is and will continue to be a lack of quality in front of goal, just so many poor efforts that should be goals this season.

Oates goal was brilliant but he missed a much easier chance in the first three minutes, he had to score. Fortunately we create a massive amount of chances to usually offset it all.

Typical mansfield really, plenty of chances poor conversion.

When you look at the money involved we can’t compete with wrexham anything other than the league title for them would be surprise.

Both wrexham goals were absolute class, brilliant finishes.

Just like last season in the dog and duck league.

Two highly impressive results for Wrexham at very tough places to go in L2.

I'll never understand any Wrexham fan disrespecting the minutes' silence when there's a large amount of war memorials in almost every town and village in North East Wales.

Especially when you consider there were people who survived the Gresford Disaster (always impeccably observed bar for one Chester idiot a few years back) who then went to war a few years later and didn't survive that...

Yet when you look at goals scored, we’re up there, but yeah the chances to conversion is terrible, there were so many chances we had yesterday which we should’ve taken.

The issue we’ve got is that nownoutches are heavy and they’re more boggy it’s highlighted how light we are when we’ve no targetman to hold the ball up. Furthermore the midfield looked tired yesterday.

Certainly time to play the kids tuesday and regroup for salford next week.

I can't say I've noticed it being a particularly Wrexham thing. Mostly remembrance silences are well observed? lots of locals will have served in the Royal Welsh or other regiments or have family members who have. Every single town in North Wales has war memorials as is the case all over the UK.

probably more to do with people being on the ale all day. Plenty of nobheads follow Wrexham unfortunately.

Got a feeling there is gonna be a major shock down at Slough today, think we might just pull it off and win.

I don't mind admitting I'm loving this trawler load of self-deprecating humour from fishy.

Both sides struggling in their respective leagues so anything could happen bar it ending 4-7 of course.

No, had stuff to do. Are the lowlights on YouTube yet? Did you stay for the 90? At least we won the second half. Tuesday night is going to be really interesting.

I went after the 6th! That means I’ve left early and missed the last 5 goals we’ve scored!

Something stinks at the CG - and it’s not my guts.

That's why they picked it for a TV match, always likely that result.

Chesterfield clearly coming up and would be top half at this level I reckon.

Wouldn't surprise me at all, they impressive last season in the run in. Naylor looked a very good signing for that level.

Welcome addition if they do come up.
